PNP tags 2 Daulah Islamiyah members as suspects in MSU bombing

MANILA – The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Wednesday identified the two persons of interest (POI) allegedly linked to the Dec. 3 bombing at the Mindanao State University (MSU) gym in Marawi City that killed four persons and wounded at least 50 others.

PNP spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo, in a press briefing in Camp Crame, Quezon City, said these are Kadapi Mimbesa alias 'Engineer' and Arsani Membesa alias 'Khatab', 'Hatab' and 'Lapitos', both members of Daulah Islamiyah-Maute Group.

ABOT sa 32 mga graduate ng Bachelor of Laws ng Notre Dame University o NDU Cotabato City ang pumasa sa kakatapos lang 2023 bar examinations. Batay ito sa posts ng NDU sa kanilang social media accounts.

Siyam naman na mga bar examinees ang pumasa mula Sultan Kudarat State University sa Tacurong City at ang Mindanao State University College of Law sa Marawi City naman, ay mayroong 108 mga lawyers.

Samantala, ipinagmamalaki naman ng Bureau of Jail Management o BJMP ng Bangsamoro Regional ang kanilang bagong abogado na si Jail Senior Superintendent Faridah Ali.

AFP heightens ops vs. Daulah Islamiyah units in Lanao Sur

MANILA – Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) chief Gen. Romeo Brawner Jr. on Tuesday said the military has launched intensified operations against the Daulah Islamiyah (DI) local terrorist group operating in Lanao del Sur.

In an interview with CNN Philippines, Brawner said they are also looking into reports that the terror group ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) is behind Sunday's bombing at the Mindanao State University (MSU) gym in Marawi City that killed four persons and wounded 50 others.

Experts to help set up Marawi City anti-terror emergency network

COTABATO CITY -- A regional telecommunications ministry offered to help the Mindanao State University establish a viable emergency reaction network for mobile phone users in its campus in Marawi City.

Technical personnel of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region here told reporters on Tuesday that they can set up such networks with the help of private telecommunications companies whose operation covers Lanao del Sur and its capital, Marawi City.

MSSD-BARMM extends more cash aid to Marawi blast victims

COTABATO CITY - In light of the recent incident in Mindanao State University (MSU) Main Campus in Marawi City, the Bangsamoro Government is taking immediate action to ensure the safety of the civilians and to assist those who are directly affected by the explosion.

MSSD shall cover the hospitalization and medicines for the wounded, as well as the burial costs of the deceased.

We strongly condemn those responsible individuals behind the atrocities committed against the innocent lives of MSU students and workers.

34 LGOO trainees complete 2nd component of induction training

After 70 days of arduous training and examinations on topics such as the BARMM and Moral Governance, the MILG and its Role in Local Governance, and Public Accountability and Administrative Matters, among others, 34 apprentices for Local Government Operations Officer (LGOO) have completed the 2nd Component of the Induction Training.

The group of 17 females and 17 males had previously completed General Orientation and the Paper & Pen Exam (PPE) in Cotabato City as part of Component I.

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – Some local government units (LGUs) in Mindanao on Sunday extended their support to their residents studying at Mindanao State University (MSU) in Marawi City, Lanao del Sur.

After the MSU Marawi campus suspended classes following an explosion that killed four and injured 50 people, several students sought assistance for transportation back to their hometowns.

BARMM Gov’t pledges proactive response to social shocks, disasters to Bangsamoro constituents

COTABATO CITY — The Government of the Day reiterated Sunday its unwavering dedication to providing relevant services to the Bangsamoro people and promptly responding to their needs.
 
This commitment was emphasized on December 3 during the press conference of the Bangsamoro Government officials, primarily discussing their interventions regarding the recent bombing incident at Dimaporo Gymnasium, Mindanao State University-Marawi (MSU).
 

MILG-BARMM community resiliency program, nakikitang paraan upang maiwasan ang karahasan sa Marawi

Pagtuwid ng maling ideolohiya at maling turo ng relihiyon ang isa sa nakikitang solusyon ng BARMM government para hindi na maulit ang pagpapasabog sa MSU-Marawi City.

At dahil diyan, mas palalakasin pa ng Ministry of the Interior and Local Government o MILG-BARMM sa pamumuno ni Minister Atty. Naguib Sinarimbo ang pagsusulong ng community resiliency program.

Kasunod ito ng nangyaring pagpapasabog sa MSU-Marawi City.

Unang nabuo ang programa kasunod ng Marawi Siege.

Death toll of MSU Marawi bombing: 4 dead, 42 injured

NANATILI SA APAT ANG bilang ng mga namatay sa MSU Marawi bombing.

Ito ang kinumpirma ni Lanao del Sur PNP provincial police director Colonel Robert Daculan, pinuno ng Special Investigation TAsk Group (SITG) Dimaporo gymnasium bombing. 

Maling impormasyon ang pinalakat sa social media na nagsasabing 11 na ang nasawi, ayon sa PNP at local officials sa Marawi.

Samantala, nangako naman ang BARMM government na sasagutin ang lahat ng hospital at burial expenses ng mga biktima.
