Pulis, aksidenteng nabaril ang sarili habang namamalengke

KORONADAL CITY - Maging responsable sa paghawak ng mga issued firearms upang hindi mapahamak ang sarili o ang kapwa.

Ito ang apela ni Koronadal City PNP chief of police Lt. Col. Amor Mio Somine sa kaniyang kapulisan matapos aksidenteng nabaril ng isang pulis ang kaniyang sarili.

Kinilala nito ang pulis na si Patrolman Romgie Larroza Llorito, nasa legal na edad at naka-assign sa 1202nd Maneauver Company, RMFB 12 na nakabase sa Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat.

P272K worth shabu seized from South Cotabato peddler

POLOMOLOK, South Cotabato - Authorities seized P272,000 worth of shabu from a dealer entrapped here Tuesday night.

Ronald Allan Lim was immediately arrested after selling his illegal merchandise to non-uniformed agents of the Police Regional Office-12 and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency 12 in a sting in Barangay Cannery here at past 10:00 p.m. Tuesday.

He is now locked in a detention facility of the Polomolok Municipal Police Station.

31 boxes of imported cigarettes seized in Sulu

COTABATO CITY --- The police seized 31 boxes of imported cigarettes found abandoned in a secluded area in Indanan Sulu late Saturday.

Major Edwin Sapa, chief of the Indanan Municipal Police Station, said Sunday the contraband was discovered by policemen out for a nighttime crime-prevention patrol in Sitio Laum Niyog in Barangay Kajatian.

He said the 31 boxes of Canon, Famous, B&R and Stone cigarettes were to be transported to somewhere in Indanan, but the people supposed to deliver the merchandise to a buyer scampered away when they noticed a police team approaching.

Marines rescue distressed crew of sunken boat in waters off Tawi-Tawi

ZAMBOANGA CITY - Troops of the Marine Battalion Landing Team-12 rescued the crew distressed by the mishap at sea waters off Tawi-Tawi on April 4, 2021, said WestMinCom Commander Lt. Gen. Corleto Vinluan, Jr.

“Based on the report from Joint Task Force Tawi-Tawi, the motor launch boat, M/L Marissa, with nine Filipino crew members on board was loading gasoline from a tanker from Sabah when its generator battery sparked causing its explosion,” said Lt. Gen. Vinluan, Jr.
