KORONADAL CITY - In an aggressive and active operation against illegal drugs and firearms, law enforcement agents under "COPLAN BAPA" successfully apprehended a notorious individual involved in drug trafficking.

The suspect, identified as Sanny Sindatun Guiamaludin, a 47-year-old mechanic from Magaslong, Datu Piang, Maguindanao Del Sur, was captured in a buy-bust operation conducted on July 25, 2023, at Barangay Silway 8, Polomolok, South Cotabato.

COTABATO CITY - Authorities are still clueless on the exact location now of a popular physician here who has been missing since Sunday, her relatives and friends convinced she was kidnapped.

The Cotabato City local government unit has offered a P300,000 reward for any information that could help the police and military locate the obstetrician-gynecologist Marivic Tello, a ranking medical staff in the Cotabato Regional Medical Center here.

Cotabato City Mayor Mohammad Bruce Matabalao has offered a P300,000 reward cash for any information that will help locate Dr. Marivic Tello, Medical Officer IV of Cotabato Sanitarium hospital who went missing Sunday.

Matabalao also offered P300,000 for any information from anyone that will help identify, locate and prosecute the persons behind the murder of Ezzel A. Tan, CPA who works at the Population Commission (Popcom-12) in Cotabato City. He went missing on Friday last week.

COTABATO CITY - Two men riding a motorcycle together died instantly on Saturday night when they slammed into a defective cargo truck left at a highway in President Quirino, Sultan Kudarat without early warning devices around.

Major Davis Dulawan, chief of President Quirino Municipal Police Station in a report to Brig. Gen. Jimili Macaraeg, director of the Police Regional Office-12, said Renante Allera Galayago, 46, and his 45-year-old companion, Felipe Torres Saaverda immediately succumbed to severe injuries caused by the accident.

Ayon kay Yap, mismong ang pamilya na ang nagkumpirma na kaanak nila ang natagpuang bangkay.

KORONADAL CITY - Three in a family riding a motorcycle together died instantly when a speeding van hit them sideways while motoring through a stretch of a highway in Tupi, South Cotabato on Saturday.

Brig. Gen. Jimili Macaraeg, director of the Police Regional Office-12, said Sunday the three fatalities - Jomar Fermalino, 50, his daughter Shena, 10, and his 77-year old mother-in-law Selvia Bastan - all died on the spot from injuries caused by the accident.
