No. 6 most wanted person falls in Cotabato City

COTABATO CITY – Joint elements of Cotabato City Police Office, Regional Intelligence Unit 15, RHPU BAR, and Maritime Police Station arrested the Number 6 Most Wanted Person of Police Station 1, Cotabato City Police Office on March 31, 2021.

Police Brigadier General Samuel P Rodriguez, Regional Director, PROBAR, lauded the operating units for their relentless efforts in the implementation and serving of warrant of arrest against wanted person in Cotabato City. He encourages the public to actively support the PNP operations against wanted person in the Bangsamoro region.

Communist rebels yield in South Cotabato

KORONADAL CITY - Kusang sumuko sa mga otoridad ang 13 na mga kasapi ng communist terror group (CTG) sa probinsya ng South Cotabato.

Early morning highway mishap in Maguindanao

MAGUINDANAO --- Police probers in Sultan Mastura town in the first district of Maguindanao are still trying to determine who was at fault in this head-on collision of a car and a light truck at a stretch of a national highway traversing the municipality.

The accident happened early Monday, March 29. No one was reported killed in the mishap.

Boy, 5 dies, 7 hurt in SoCot highway mishap

P3.8 million worth smuggled cigarettes seized by Navy operatives

COTABATO CITY --- Navy personnel foiled before dawn Saturday an attempt by boatmen from Sulu to smuggle to Zamboanga City P3.8 million worth of imported cigarettes.

Lt. Gen. Corleto Vinluan, Jr. of the Western Mindanao Command said Sunday the operation resulted in the confiscation of 108 cases of cigarettes from the crew of the two small boats now in the custody of the Naval Forces Western Mindanao.

The NFWM has teams guarding round-the-clock the territorial waters of Zamboanga City from terrorists, smugglers and human traffickers.

1,000 marijuana plants worth P7.6 million seized in Sulu

COTABATO CITY --- Anti-narcotics operatives uprooted a thousand marijuana plants worth P7.6 million in a remote town in Sulu Friday.

Juvenal Azurin, director of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, said Saturday marijuana plants were owned by a certain Otoh, who is at large.

PDEA-BARMM agents and officials of the Sulu provincial police placed at P7.6 million the value of the confiscated marijuana plants.

10-member armed gang surrenders to CIDG

COTABATO CITY --- Ten gunmen identified with a slain mayor included in President Rodrigo Duterte’s list of narco-politicians surrendered to the police Thursday.

The group, led by Andih Anso, turned over assorted firearms, including a .50 caliber Barrett sniper’s rifle to Major Gen. Albert Ignatius Ferro, director of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, during a simple surrender rite in a police camp in the city.

Anso also turned in three live rifle-propelled grenades and two 40 millimeter grenade projectiles.

2 South Cotabato mayors, pinapa-explain ng DILG bakit naunang nagpabakuna

KORONADAL CITY -- Limang mga mayors sa bansa ang pinapaliwanag ng DILG kung bakit sila naunang nagpabakuha kahit wala sila sa priority list.

Ang memorandum ay ipinalabas ni DILG Undersecretary Epimaco Densing.

Dalawang sa mga mayor ay taga South Cotabato. Ito ay sina T'boli Mayor Dibu Tuan at Sto Nino Mayor Sulpicio Villalobos.
