IPHO Maguindanao registers 101% completion in anti-polio drive

COTABATO CITY – The Integrated Provincial Health Office in Maguindanao has reported a 101-percent completion of its “Sabayang Patak Kontra Polio” campaign in the province.

This came after provincial health workers managed to administer anti-polio vaccination to 197,688 children, exceeding their target of 195,068 children.

“Our accomplishment for the final round of the ‘Patak’ campaign has an equivalent of 101 percent,” Dr. Elizabeth Samama, chief of the IPHO-Maguindanao, told reporters here in an interview Tuesday.

COVID WATCH: COVID-19 cases in Region 12 breach 300 mark with 7 new cases

COTABATO CITY - Seven new cases of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) have been added to the rising number of COVID-19 patients in the Soccsksargen region, the Department of Health-12 said in its bulletin Tuesday night.

With the new cases, the total number of COVID-19 positive in Region 12 is now at 303 with 146 recoveries.

Of the seven new cases, four are from Sultan Kudarat and three from Gen. Santos City.

COVID WATCH: Region has 7 new cases, 2 recoveries

COTABATO CITY - The Department of Health in the Soccsksargen region today reported seven new coronavirus disease cases, raising the total number of COVID-19 positive to 297 as of Monday night.

The DOH-12 also reported two postiive patients, including a 5-year-old boy in Cotabato City, have recovered.

Of the seven new cases, five are from Sultan Kudarat and two from South Cotabato.

COVID WATCH: 3 new cases, 3 recoveries in Region 12

COTABATO CITY - Three new COVID-19 patients are added to the total number of novel coronavirus disease in the Soccsksargen region as of Sunday night. Region 12 now has 290 confirmed cases. 

In its Aug. 2 situation report, the DOH-12 reported that three confirmed patients have recovered from the disease.

The three new cases are two from South Cotabato and one from North Cotabato. 

Of the three recovered patients, two from Gen. Santos City and one from North Cotabato.

COVID WATCH: 2 new COVID-19 positive listed in North Cotabato

COTABATO CITY - Two new novel coronavirus disease have been reported in the Soccsksargen region Saturday night, raising the total COVID-19 positive cases in the region to 287.

The two are all from North Ctoabato who have history of travel to Manila.

The Department of Health also reported 10 recovery cases, two of whom are from Cotabato City, Six in Sultan Kudarat and two in Sarangani.

COVID WATCH: DOH-12 records 12 recoveries

COTABATO CITY - A dozen recoveries of COVID-19 patients give some ray of hope for the frontliners and the patients themselves as they step out of the isolation facilities in the region.

Eight of them are from Sarangani province, two from South Cotabato and two from North Cotabato.

Total recovery now is at 125.

COVID WATCH: 25 new cases in Region 12, highest single day tally

COTABATO CITY - The Department of Health in the Soccsksargen region today listed an enormous 25 new cases of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the single day highest record so far, raising the total number of COVID-19 positive to 285.

A dozen COVID patients have recovered, the DOH said in its Juily 31 situation report.

BARMM sends 260 LSIs to Basilan on Feast of Sacrifice

COTABATO CITY  – On the Islamic Eid’l Adha celebration of “Feast of Sacrifice,” 260 Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs) found for the island provinces of Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) were sent by the regional govern via the Port of Polloc.

Personnel of Rapid Emergency and Disaster Response- (READi-BARMM) accompanied the Basilan and Lamitan City-bound LSIs in boarding a commercial vessel that will ferry them home.

They are expected to arrive at Lamita City port by Saturday noon.

Datu Blah Sinsuat town still has no COVID-19 case

MAGUINDANAO --- All 13 barangays in the seaside Datu Blah Sinsuat municipality in Maguindanao are still free from COVID-19, its local government unit said in a statement Saturday.

The office of Datu Blah Sinsuat Mayor Marshall Sinsuat said even so, they are not complacent and that their anti-coronavirus containment efforts remained extensive to keep the whole municipality virtually “COVID-19 free” as much as possible.

COVID WATCH: 14 new cases in Sultan Kudarat and South Cotabato

KORONADAL CITY - Fourteen more residents of Region 12 have been tested positive of novel coronavirus disease as of Thursday night, the Dept of Health in the Soccsksargen region said.

With this new cases, the total confirmed COVID-19 positive in the region hits 260 mark with 113 recovered patients and three fatalities.

Five of the new cases are from Sultan Kudarat and nine are from Sultan Kudarat.

Three patients have also recovered.  They are two from North Cotabato and one from South Cotabato.
