COTABATO CITY - Twenty-one new cases of novel coronavirus have been added to the list of confirmed cases in the region, breaching the 600 mark, the Department of Health in Region 12 today said.

Of the 21 cases, 20 were from Gen. Santos City and one from Surallah, South Cotabato.

Of the 21 cases today in Gen. Santos City, one has died. The 618th confirmed patient was a 54-year-old male whose travel history is still under investigation.  The man died today, making the death toll for GenSan alone to 5.

Regionwide, the death toll was at 10.

COTABATO CITY  – After all the 34 police officers and police trainees have completed the 4-week hard lockdown, health officials in Maguindanao have lifted the containment of Covid-19 positive patients inside the police regional office in Parang, Maguindanao.

Dr. Elizabeth Samama, Maguindanao health chief and heaD of Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO), said occupants and police trainees inside the Regional Training Center of Police Regional Office (PRO-BARMM) have finally completed their 4-week hard lockdown.

COTABATO CITY - The number of novel coronavirus in the Soccsksargen region has breached the 500 mark and hit a total tally of 513 as of Thursday night.

Of the new cases, 12 were from South Cotabato, five from Cotabato City, including a two year old male. 

COTABATO CITY --- After Bangsamoro Health Minister Saffrullah Dipatuan have admitted he and his wife were positive of COVID-19, three more employees of another department in the regional government also had the virus.

The two-storey executive building of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao in southeast of Cotabato City, where the region’s chief minister, Hadji Ahod Ebrahim, holds office, was shut indefinitely for disinfection.

COTABATO CITY - Four Covid-19 patients have recovered from the coronavirus in Regionm 12, the Department of Health reported today.

But 23 others were new cases in the region, raising the confirmed cases to 485.

Of the four new recovered patients, three from Cotabato City and one from South Cotabato.

Of the 23 new cases, 13 were from South Cotabato; five in Cotabato City; North Cotabato has two, Sultan Kudarat has two and one in Sarangani.

COTABATO CITY - The health chief in the Bangsamoro Region today announced he and his wife were tested positive of Covid-19.

Dr. Saffrullah Dipatuan, health minister of the Bangsamoro Region in Muslim Mindanao (MOH-BARMM) announced in his FB page that from day one he had complied with the basic precautionary measures but still he was infected.

COTABATO CITY – Eight new cases of Covid 19 positive have been added to the rising number of confirmed novel coronavirus cases in the Bangsamoro region, the Ministry of Health today said.

With eight new cases, the region now has a total of 682, majority of whom (about 49 percent) were from Lanao del Sur and Marawi City.

Dr. Safrullah Dipatuan, health minister of the Bangsamoro Region, the eight new cases were three from Marawi City and one each from the towns of Lumabayangue, Marantao, Wao, Balindong and Malabang.

COTABATO CITY - The Departmet of Health in the Soccsksargen region today reported that 15 new cases of Covid-19 have been added to the regioal list of positive patients.

With 15 new cases, the region now has a total of 462 patients.

Nine patients, on the other hand, have recovered from the virus.
