NDBC COVID-19 WATCH: 17 new cases, one recovers

COTABATO CITY - Seventeen new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded by the Dept of Health in the Soccsksargen region as of 6 p.m. Sept. 14, 2020.

Of the new cases, eight were from Cotabato City, seven from South Cotabato and one each from North Cotabato and Gen. Santos City.  With that, the region now has a total of 890 confirmed cases with 473 active patients and 398 patients have recovered. 

Only one patient, a 25-year-old male from Cotabato City has recovered from the disease.

Lanao Sur prov'l chief exec COVID-19 positive

MARAWI CITY --- Lanao del Sur Gov. Mamintal Adiong, Jr. announced Monday he contracted COVID-19 and is now under quarantine in an isolation facility here.

“I tested positive for coronavirus despite having adapted stringent measures to prevent me from getting infected,” Adiong said.

Adiong immediately proceeded to the isolation facility in Marawi City’s Amai Pakpak Medical Center after learning Sunday night that a prior testing indicated that he is positive to COVID-19.

NDBC COVID WATCH: Cotabato City's 12-year-old boy defeats virus; Region 12 lists 16 new cases, 13 are from Cotabato City

COTABATO CITY - A 12-year-odl boy fromt this city and a 33-year-old female from Gen. Santos City have defeated the virus based on the latest bulletin from the Deparment of Health (DOH-12).

However, 16 new cases were listed Sunday, 13 of whom were from Cotabato City, raising the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the region to 873.

Also listed as COVID-19 positive were one from North Cotabato, one from Sultan Kudarat and one from Gen. Santos City.  

All the new cases in Cotabato City have exposures to confirmed COVID-19 cases.

NDBC COVID WATCH: 44 new cases in Soccsksargen, 8 recoveries

COTABATO CITY - Gen. Santos City continues to list new cases of novel coronavirus disease infections as the Department of Health (DOH-12) list 44 new cases across the region.

Gen. Santos City has 18 cases, Sarangani has 10, Cotabato City (8), South Cotabato (7),  North Cotabato (1), rasing the total confirmed cases to 857. 

Eight patients have recovered to date with six from Gen. Santos City, one in South Cotabato and one in Cotabato City.

NDBC COVID WATCH: 9 patients recover but 27 new cases up in Soccsksargen

COTABATO CITY - Nine novel coronavirus patients have recovered in the Soccsksargen region but 27 new cases were also recorded on the same day.

In a bulletin, DOH said the recovered patients include those from from Sarangani with three, South Cotabato two, North Cotabato two, Sultan Kudarat with one and Gen. Santos with one, raising the number of recovered patients to 387.

UNDP donates biohazard protection supplies to Lanao del Sur

MARAWI CITY --- The government’s anti-COVID-19 campaign in Lanao del Sur, now with high prevalence of infection cases, got a boost with a supply of biohazard protection equipment from the United Nations Development Programme.

Lanao del Sur Gov. Mamintal Adiong, Jr. said Friday he is thankful to the UNDP for donating early this week personal protection equipment for their anti-COVID-19 frontliners.

“This donation will augment our supplies. Our health frontliners need these supplies. We are grateful to the UNDP,” Adiong said.

NDBC COVID WATCH: DOH-12 lists 72 new infections, 29 in Gen. Santos, 23 in South Cotabato

COTABATO CITY - The Department of Health in the Soccsksargen region today reported a single day record of confirmed COVID-19 cases, raising the tally to 786.

Six patients have so far defeated the virus, raising the recovery list to 378.

Gen. Santos City has the highest single day infections of 29, followed by South Cotabato with 23, Cotabato City has 12 including a 5-year-old boy, Sultan Kudarat has 5, North Cotabato has 2 and one in Sarangani province.

KORONADAL CITY - South Cotabato Medical Society hiniling kay Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. na isailalim sa Enhanced Community Quarantine o ECQ ang probinsya dahil sa patuloy na pagtaas ng COVID-19 sa hanay ng mga health frontliner.

Narito ang listahan ng mga ospital at ang mga health worker na ngayon ay naka-quarantine matapos ma exposed sa COVID-19 patients.

1. South Cotabato Provincial Hospital - 15 nursing staff at 2 admin staff

2. Allah Valley Medical Specialist - 37 medical Staff

3. Dr. Pingoy Hospital- 7 medical and Laboratory staff

NDBC COVID WATCH: 8 patients recover, 5 of them from Cotabato City; Region 12 has 23 new cases

COTABATO CITY – Five COVID-19 patients in Ctoabato City have recovered and defeated the disease, the Department of Health today said.

The five were among the eight patients in Region 12 who have survived the disease, two from Pres. Roxas, North Cotabato and one in Sultan Kudarat.

But the DOH also reported that the region has 23 new COVID-19 cases.

Seventeen of the patients were from South Cotabato.

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases is now at 641 with 267 active cases and 361 recoveries.

Death toll was at 12.

44 health personnel of Koronadal City Health Office undergo isolation

KORONADAL CITY -- Naka-quarantine na ngayon ang 44 na mga medical health workers at personnel ng Koronadal City Health office matapos na kanilang makasalamuha sa trabaho ang apat nilang mga kasamahan na unanG nagpositibo sa COVID-19.

Aniya stable naman ang kalagayan ng mga ito habang naka-isolate at karamihan halos ay asymptomatic.

Ginagawa na rin ang contact tracing sa mga taong kanilang nakasalamuha, lalo na ang kanilang pamilya at mahal sa buhay.
