COTABATO CITY - Three new coronavirus disease patients have been reported in the Soccsksargen region, raising the total number of confirmed Covid-19 patients in the region to 383.

The three were from Gen. Santos, South Cotabato and North Cotabato.

Also, on the same day, three Covid-19 patients have recovered from the disease. One of the three was from Gen. Santos City and the other two from South Cotabato.

South Cotabato remained to have the highest nubmer of confirmed cases at 97.

Total number of recovered patients stands at 291.

COTABATO CITY - Six new recoveries, six new positive.

Six COVID-19 patients have survived the disease as of Thursday night, raising the number of recovered patients to 288.

The six patients are heading for home or have done home already. Four of them were from Gen. Santos City, one in South Cotabato and another in Sultan Kudarat.  

Of the six new positive cases, three from North Cotabato, two from South Cotabato and one from Gen. Santos City.  

The region now has 380 total COVID-19 positive with South Cotabato maintaining the top spot with 96 cases.

KORONADAL CITY ---- Region 12 achieved a 96.56 percent accomplishment in the government’s July 20 to August 2, 2020 “Sabayang Patak Kontra Polio” campaign.

A report obtained Thursday from the Department of Health-12 placed at 96.56 percent, based on inputs from local government units, municipal and provincial health offices, the accomplishment in the anti-polio immunization drive in the region during the period.

COTABATO CITY - Ten more novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) patients in Region 12 have recovered as of tonight, raising the total number of recovered patients to 282, the Department of Health (DOH-12) said in a bulletin.

Of the 10 patients who survived the disease as listed by DOH-12 Wednesday night, nine were from South Cotabato and one from North Cotabato.

The DOH Soccsksargen region also reported that eight new persons have been tested positive of the virus, raising the total number of positive cases in the region to 374.

COTABATO CITY - Nineteen patients have recovered from the 2019 novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the Soccsksargen region, the Department of Health reported today.

In a situation report tonight, DOH-12 said the total number of patients to have recovered was 272 from 366 total confirmed COVID-19 cases in the region.

Of the 19 new recoveries reported,  eight were from Gen. Santos City, South Cotabato (5),  Sarangani (3), North Cotabato (3).

COTABATO CITY - The Department of Health in the Soccsksargen region today reported the recovery of nine COVID-19 patients and listed four new cases.

Of the nine patients who have recovered, four were from South Cotabato, four from Sultan Kudarat and one from North Cotabato.

Among the four new patients was a 6-month old male from South Cotabato. He was among the three new patients from the province.  The fourth patient was from Gen. Santos City.

The region now has a total of 363 confirmed COVID-19 cases while the number of patients who have recovered rose to 253. 

COTABATO CITY - Eight new cases of confirmed COVID-19 have been recorded in the Soccsksargen Region as of Sunday, August 16, the Dept of Health said, raising the total confirmed cases to 359.

DOH-12 also reported nine new recovery cases of patients, raising the total survival number to 244.

COTABATO CITY - Fifteen patients have recovered from the novel coronavirus disease, raising the number of persons inflected with the deadly virus but recovered to 235, the Department of Health (DOH-12) reported the good news Saturday.

Of the 15 new recovery cases, nine were from South Cotabato, North Cotabato (3), Sultan Kudarat (2) and Sarangani (1).

DOH-12, meanwhile, reported that two new Covid-19 cases were added to the list of confirmed novel coronavirus carriers, raisign the total number of COVID-19 cases to 351.

COTABATO CITY - Two new health frontliners in Cotabato City and eight others in Region 12 have tested positive of COVID-19 as of Friday night, raising the total confirmed cases in the Soccsksargen region to 349.

In a bulletin, the Department of Health in the Soccsksargen region reported that of the 10 new cases, four are from Sultan Kudarat, two in Sarangani, two in Cotabato City, one each in South Cotabato and North Cotabato.

The two new cases in Cotabato were staff of the Cotabato Regional and Medical Center.  They have exposures to COVID-19 patients.

COTABATO CITY – A 61-year-old public school teacher in Isulan, Sultan Kudarat, who is due to retire next year, has died of novel coronavirus disease, Mayor Maritess Pallasigue said.

“Her remains has been cremated Thursday night,” Mayor Pallasigue said in a phone interview.

The teacher has complained of fever and mild coughs and was rushed by her husband and relatives to a hospital where she was swabbed for Covid laboratory tests and later tested of the virus. She died Thursday morning.
