Kidapawan Covid-19 survivor gives birth; Gov. Catamco, frontliners overjoyed

KIDAPAWAN CITY - A coronavirus survivor delivered a healthy baby girl at the Cotabato Provincial Hospital here that also gave joy to Cotabato Gov. Nancy Catamco and the frontliner-health providers.

If she had her way and if not a breach of health protocols, Gov. Catamco would have easily carry the healthy baby girl in her hands to show how grateful and happy she would have been.

The governor, despite her hectic and busy schedules, took time out to send gifts and flowers to the mother and her child Tuesday morning.

Basilan temporarily closed to returning residents as COVID-19 cases rise

COTABATO CITY --- The National Task Force Against Covid-19 has approved a 15-day moratorium on return to Basilan of residents stranded in Metro Manila due to the nationwide anti-coronavirus quarantine.

The number of COVID-19 cases in Basilan swelled alarmingly in the past two weeks after a large number of stranded individuals already infected with coronavirus while still outside started arriving in the province.

COVID 19 positive patient recorded in Region 12; coronavirus positive from Kidapawan dies

KORONADAL CITY - A 30-year-old female from Sarangani province who recently traveled from Manila to Sarangani is the 74th Covid-19 positive patients in the Soccsksargen region, the Department of Health-Center for Health Development 12 said Sunday.

The patient who arrived on June 19 is in stable condition and still awaiting PH number.

DOH also reported that ther region has already two fatality who died of the coronavirus.  One in Sultan Kudarat (PH600) and the other in North Cotabato.

Catamco asks DILG, National IATF to look into alleged discrimination of provincial health frontliner in Kidapawan

KIDAPAWAN CITY  – North Cotabato Governor Nancy Catamco has asked the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) to take appropriate actions on the reported discrimination against one of the province’s health frontliners.

DOH-12 records 4 new Covid-19 positive; 3 recoveries

GEN. SANTOS CITY - Four more residents in the Soccsksargen region have been tested positive to coronavirus disease (COVID-19) while three others have recovered and are now out of isolation center, the Department of Health in Region 12 reported in a July 3 situation report on COVID.

The four new cases, three female and a male, were from South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani and Gen. Santos City.

All of them have history of travel to Manila but they remained in stable condition.

7 new Covid-19 positive cases in Soccsksargen region, says DOH-12

COTABATO CITY - TGhje Department of Health in the Soccsksargen region today reported seven new cases of Covid-19 positive and all of them from Sultan Kudarat province.

Sultan Kudarat now tops among region's provinces with 18.

BARMM doubles efforts to monitor the influx of LSIs, ROFs

COTABATO CITY  — The Bangsamoro Government is intensifying its measures to monitor the continuing influx of Locally Stranded Individuals (LSI) and Returning Overseas Filipino Workers (ROF) availing the government’s ‘Hatid Probinsya’ program, which is linked to the region’s increasing Covid-19 cases.

Bangsamoro Inter-Agency Task Force Spokesperson Mohd Asnin Pendatun confirmed during Thursday’s press briefer that seven more LSI and one ROF were added to the BARMM’s confirmed cases which now reached to a total of 134

Sarangani man tests positive of coronavirus

COTABATO CITY - A male who has traveled history to Manila was the latest Covid-19 patinet in the Soccsksargen region, the Dept of Health said.

To date, Region 12 now has 62 positive with 39 recoveries.

DOH-12: 2 new Covid patients and 5 recoveries

COTABATO CITY - The Department of Health in the Soccsksargen region today reported two new Covid-19 cases and five recoveries.

The two new cases were from Sarangani and South Cotabato.  Those who have recovered included one from Cotabato City, one from Gen. Santos City and three from South Cotabato.
