COTABATO CITY -The Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) considered the poorest region in the country is hoping that a program on entrepreneurship can spur more economic activity in the region.

KIDAPAWAN CITY
– The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE-12) is set to extend a P12
million worth livelihood package to about 1,000 indigent beneficiaries here.

The project,
dubbed as DOLE Integrated Livelihood and Emergency Employment Program (DILEEP),
aims to help indigent residents earn a decent sources of income.

Implemented by
the Public Employment and Services Office (PESO), the program was in
partnership with the Kidapawan City local government.

and Industry will conduct in Gen. Santos City from Nov. 13 to 15 livelihood
trainings for prospective entrepreneurs, the DTI’s office in Cotabato announced
Wednesday.
