Cotabato City now has DTI-sponsored biz resource center

COTABATO CITY (Sept.20) - A local business chamber and the Department of Trade and Industry launched on Thursday the Business Resource Center (BRC) here, a facet for advisory and extension services needed to boost the local economy.The Muslim Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kutawato, Inc., chaired by entrepreneur Bai Sandra Siang, will oversee the operation of the BRC.The DTI's office in Region 12 provided the BRC with office equipment, including laptop and desk top computers with complete accessories, a photo copier, a Nikon camera, a scanner and an LCD projector to hasten its delivery

New mall to rise in Cotabato City

COTABATO CITY (Sept. 8/NDBC) – The famous
CityMalls in the country, managed by DoubleDragon Properties Corporation, will soon
rise in this city, the Philippine Stock Exchange reported on its site Monday.

CityMall Commercial Centers Inc.
(CMCCI), the shopping mall development arm of DoubleDragon, said the
CityMall-Cotabato City is expected to be completed by the third quarter of
2015.

North Cotabato black rice enters int'l market

KIDAPAWAN CITY (Sept. 2/NDBC) --Organic products from North Cotabato such as black rice and coco sugar are starting to penetrate the international market, the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) reported Monday. In a press statement, MinDA said that the North Cotabato provincial office is currently processing confirmed orders of black rice and coco sugar from the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand, which are expected to be formalized in the next six months.
