Tacurong City business permit renewal in 90 minutes

CITY
OF TACURONG---Business owners renew their permits for only an hour and thirty
minutes with only two easy steps.

First,
business owners submit all required documents to the LGU’s License Section. If
requirements are complete, LGU personnel encode business data. The second step
then requires business owners to proceed to the Treasury Office to submit and
pay their Tax Assessment. The business owner then receives the business permit
from the personnel of the Treasury Office.

ARMM sees more investments in 2015

COTABATO
CITY – The Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) sees
brighter, more investments to come in the region in 2015, officials said today.”About
Php1 billion or more worth of investments is expected to pour in the ARMM this
2015,” Lawyer Ishak Mastura, chair of the ARMM Board of Investments (RBOI).

projects are into biomass power generation, mining, oil depot inTawi-Tawi, and agriculture related projects

RBOI-ARMM registered P3.867 billion investments in 2014

COTABATO CITY -- The Regional Board of Investments in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (RBOI-ARMM)announced today that it has registered an unprecedented Php3.867 billion investments in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM).The announcement was made after the RBOI approved Wednesday, in its board meeting, the nickel-mining project of Pax Libera Mining, Inc.

Kidapawan employees to get P18,000 Christmas bonus

KIDAPAWAN CITY - Employees of the Kidapawan City government will soon receive its Christmas bonus amounting to P18,000 each plus P4,000 health care bonus. The Kidapawan City government announced 730 casual and regular employees will get P18,000 cash bonus wile 491 job order employees of the city hall, 92 mega market and 49 overland terminal workers will receive P5,000 cash and gift certificates. A P5,000 cash also await Special Education Fund (SEF) teachers in the city.

Cotabato City investments up this year - DTI

COTABATO CITY - Investments in Cotabato City has improved with more micro-business coming in this year, the Department of Trade and Industry today said.Trade and Industry Cotabato City Officer-In-Charge Carlito Nuñez said investments poured in the city this year reached more than P800 million to date as compared to about P500 million in 2013.

DTI-ARMM has free business counselling program

COTABATO CITY –
The Department of Trade and Industry in the Autonomous Region in Muslim
Mindanao (ARMM) is offering free business counselling services as part of the
silver anniversary of the ARMM.

DTI-ARMM
Regional Secretary Sakiran Hajan said his office is providing free counselling to
anyone who wold like to do business in the region.

Region 12 workers to get Php5 wage hike starting Jan. 1

GENERAL SANTOS CITY, Dec. 2 (PNA) -- Private workers in Region 12 will receive an additional Php5 increase in their daily wages starting January 1 next year, bringing the area’s floor pay to Php275.Ofelia Domingo, Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Region 12 director, said the pay increase represents the Php5 additional cost-of-living allowance (COLA) that was set in Wage Order No. RB XII-18 that took effect last August 1.She said workers in the region received a Php10 to Php14 increase in their basic minimum wage upon the effectivity of Wage Order No.

Malaysian traders to invest in poultry production in Cotabato City

COTABATO CITY –
Malaysian investors are coming over on Dec. 8 to explore and eventually
formalize its intention to invest in poultry management in the city, the city
mayor’s office today said.

Aniceto
Rasalan, executive assistant to Mayor Japal Guiani Jr, said the investors are
looking forward for the completion of the country’s first halal”
slaughterhouse that will complement the poultry investment of Malaysian
traders.

Noche Buena products prices stable, ample in Cotabato City

COTABATO
CITY – Prices of so called Noche Buena” products in the city remained stable,
26 days before Christmas, an official of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)
said.

DTI-Cotabato
City chief Carlito Nunez said his office has been closely monitoring Christmas
products” and found out prices remained stable and supplies are enough.

Rehab of Cotabato City mega market fish section to go full swing in 2015 yet

COTABATO CITY – Rehabilitation of the
fish section of Cotabato City’s mega market appeared to be turtle-paced as
almost two years have passed yet the project is yet to go full swing.

The Cotabato City Engineering Office
admitted repair works may go full blast early next year yet.

Engr. Samuel Jorolan, city engineer,
said gravel refilling, the first phase of the project, is almost complete but
due to lack of funds, full swing engineering works will start early next year
with the city government appropriates funds thereof.
