COTABATO CITY - State agents seized P40,800 worth of shabu from three alleged dealers entrapped Wednesday in Kidapawan City.

Naravy Duquiatan, director for Region 12 of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, said Thursday suspects Wilfred Panalig Felipe, 38, Ephraim Aligarme Aryantillo, 30, and the 26-year-old Ian James Panalig Felipe, are now detained.

Duquitan said the three of them fell in a sting in Barangay Manongol in Kidapawan City, together laid by agents of PDEA-12 and personnel of the Kidapawan City Police Office. 

COTABATO CITY - The police clamped down a popular merchant from whose house in Marawi City law-enforcement agents found unlicensed firearms Tuesday.

Col. Jibin Bongcayao, director of the Lanao del Sur provincial police, said Wednesday the businessman, Mahid Dipatuan, is now in the custody of the field office in the province of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region.

Marawi City is the capital of Lanao del Sur, one of the five provinces in the Bangsamoro region.

COTABATO CITY - The police confiscated P435,000 worth of smuggled cigarettes on Monday night in a coastal barangay in Malabang, Lanao del Sur.

Col. Jibin Bongcayao, director of the Lanao del Sur provincial police, said Tuesday boatmen unloading the 29 boxes of cigarettes with Indonesian brands at Barangay Boniga in Malabang hurriedly sailed away when they saw policemen approaching their location.

COTABATO CITY --- Six shabu peddlers were arrested for  selling P44,000 worth of shabu to non-uniformed policemen in Marawi City over the weekend

Col. Jibin Bongcayao, director of the Lanao del Sur provincial police, said Monday Omar Macabago Disangcopan, 26, Nadjer Dipatuan Subo, 23, and Aisa Raidamoda Usop, 28, are now in a detention facility of the Marawi City Police Office.

Three of their male accomplices, all minors, are now under the joint custody of the police and the city social welfare office.

COTABATO CITY - Authorities seized P102,000 worth of shabu, firearms and two fragmentation grenades from five henchmen of a drug den operator arrested Thursday in Kabacan, North Cotabato.

Suspects Amir Sumilalao, Tonican Sumilalao, Mohammad Orakim, Ervin Villagonzalo and To Dimaudtang are now under custody of the Philippine Drug Enforcement-12.

KORONADAL CITY - The police filed Tuesday a criminal case against a teacher who allegedly masterminded the murder last week of a student in Tampakan town in South Cotabato.

The teacher, Rustom Pedrosa Baloyo, 33, had an affair with the slain male student, Jade Vince Eribal, that went awry when he learned that the victim had a girlfriend.

MANILA – Three persons under police custody (PUPCs), including one who held former Senator Leila de Lima hostage, were killed following their attempt to escape from the custodial center of the Philippine National Police at Camp Crame in Quezon City on Sunday.

In a radio interview, Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr. Azurin identified the PUPCs as Arnel Cabintoy, Feliciano Sulayao and Abduljihad Susukan.

KIDAPAWAN CITY - Dalawang lalaki ang sugatan sa tila walang tigil na karahasan sa Pikit, North Cotabato.

Ngayong hapon, isang pinaniniwalaang granada ang sumabog di kalayuan sa Cruzado clinic sa Poblacion Pikit na ikinasugat ng dalawang lalaki, kabilang ang isang senior citizen.

Ang larawan sa ibaba ay lugar malapit sa pinagsabugan ng pinaniniwalaang granada at ang isa sa mga biktima.

Sinabi ni Pikit town police chief Maj. Maxim Peralta sa panayam ng DXND Radyo Bida Kidapawan na isinasagawa pa ang imbestigasyon sa naganap na pagsabog pasado alas dos ng hapon.
