UPDATE 2: Hold-up sa Bagontapay, Mlang, North Cotabato: 7 na ang patay, kabilang ang isang police officer

MLANG, North Cotabato - Umakyat na sa apat katao ang nasawi kasunod ng nangyari hold-up sa Brgy. Bagontapay, M’lang, North Cotabato ngayong hapon.

Isa ring pulis ang nasawi sa naturang insidente kasunod ng isinagawang pursuit operation.

Patuloy pang inaalam ng Radyo Bida ang pagkakakilanlan ng mga nasawi.

KUMPIRMADONG isang pulis ang napatay sa sa pagtugis ng awtoridad sa mga suspect sa robbery hold up sa Bagontapay, M'lang, Cotabato kaninang alas 3:00 ng hapon.

Seguridad ng lahat, tiniyak ng Cotabato City PNP kasunod ng serye ng pamamaril

PINAWI ng Cotabato City Police ang pangamba ng publiko sa harap ng sunod-sunod na kaso ng pamamaril sa lungsod at tiniyak na ginagawa nito ang lahat ng paraan upang matiyak na ligtas ang bawat Cotabatenio.

Sa panayam ng Radyo Bida kay Cotabato City Police Spokesperson Lt. Col. Carmelo Mungkas, sinabi nito na walang dapat ikabahala ang mga residente ng lungsod dahil laging nakahanda ng tropa ng PNP sa pagresponde sa anumang krimen.

Patunay aniya rito ay ang pagkasawi ng dalawang riding tandem suspects na namaril ng isang lalaki sa Sinsuat Avenue.

Man with rifles nabbed at past midnight in Datu Odin Sinsuat

DATU ODIN SINSUAT, Maguindanao - Alerto police arrested Sunday night a man who acted suspiciously while drive a mini-van and approaching a police checkpoint in Barnagay Dalican here.

Lt. Colonel Nelson Madiwo, municipal police chief of Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao, said police operatives arrested Norodin Kasan Lumanggal, 37 years old, a resident of Barangay Dinaig, Datu Odin Sinsuat town.

Seized from his van were one Colt AR-15 Riffle, one M16 Elisco rifle, extra magazines loaded with bullets, handheld radios and two mobile phones.

Farmer dead in latest hostilities in Pikit, North Cotabato

COTABATO CITY --- An innocent farmer was killed in a clash by rival members of the Moro National Liberation Front and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front in the hostile Pikit town in Cotabato. 

Lt. Col. John Meridel Calinga, chief of the Pikit municipal police, said Wednesday Nasser Sagubakan Batuwag, 25, died on the spot from multiple bullet wounds. 

Calinga said Batuwag was trapped in the crossfire Tuesday in Barangay Balatican in Pikit between the groups of Commander Gampong of the MILF’s 105th Base Command and Commander Wali who belong to the MNLF.

P221K worth shabu seized in Marawi sting

COTABATO CITY - Anti-narcotics agents seized P221,000 of shabu from four dealers, two of them women, who fell in a sting Wednesday in Marawi City.

The suspects, Hashim Saber Aragasi, 38, Khominie Baraacal Sabdullah, 36, and their female cohorts, Aminah Carim Eppie, 34, and Diamona Datu Simban Aragasi, 36, are now detained at the Marawi City Police Office.

Teacher-cartoonist killed in Sultan Kudarat province

COTABATO CITY - A man killed with a pistol a teacher and popular cartoonist in an interior barangay in Lebak town in Sultan Kudarat late Saturday.

Lt. Col. Julius Malcontento, chief of the Lebak Municipal Police Station, said the victim, Benharl Capote Kahil, 27, died from seven gunshot wounds in different parts of his body.

Malcontento said Kahil was attacked by a man, armed with a 9 millimeter pistol, in Sitio Langganasi in Barangay Pasandalan, Lebak on Saturday night.

Malcontento said Kahil was a school teacher.

Maguindanao poll official survives gun attack

COTABATO CITY - A municipal election officer who was heading for home after a Friday prayer was shot and injured by still unidentified along a busy street here Friday noon.

Atty. Udtog Tago, Maguindanao provincial election supervisor, said the victim, Raufen Mangelen, election officer of Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao was to buy banana at a roadside fruit stand along Gov. Gutierrez Avenue when attacked by a lone gunman.

LGU, nag-alok ng P300K sa impormasyon sa bumaril kay Councilor Moby

DATU MONTAWAL, Maguindanao – Nag-alok ng halagang P300,000 reward money ang local government ng Datu Montawal sa sinumang makapagbibigay ng impormasyon na ikadarakip ng mga pumatay kay Councilor Mubarac “Moby” Abubakar.

Ang pag-aalok ng reward money ay kinumpirma Datu Montawal Mayor Otho Montawal.

Si Councilor Abubakar ay binaril sa ulo at katawan ng di pa nakikilalang mga suspect habang ito ay buimibili ng isda sa gilid ng national highway sa Barangay Pagagawan, Datu Montawal, Maguindanao tanghali noong lunes.

Peddler killed in clash with anti-narc agents in Matalam

COTABATO CITY - Anti-narcotics agents shot dead a drug dealer in a gunfight on Friday afternoon in Matalam town in Cotabato province.

Combined agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency 12 and policemen out to search for shabu and firearms in the hideout of Guiman Sansalona Malan in Barangay Kilada in Matalam immediately neutralized him when he pulled out an MK 2 fragmentation grenade and tried to remove its safety pin.

3 drug den operators nabbed in Kidapawan City

COTABATO CITY - State agents seized P40,800 worth of shabu from three alleged dealers entrapped Wednesday in Kidapawan City.

Naravy Duquiatan, director for Region 12 of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, said Thursday suspects Wilfred Panalig Felipe, 38, Ephraim Aligarme Aryantillo, 30, and the 26-year-old Ian James Panalig Felipe, are now detained.

Duquitan said the three of them fell in a sting in Barangay Manongol in Kidapawan City, together laid by agents of PDEA-12 and personnel of the Kidapawan City Police Office.
