KORONADAL CITY - Gunmen shot dead three Moro minors gathering coconuts in a farm at the border of South Cotabato’s adjoining Tupi and Polomolok towns on Thursday.

In an initial statement Friday, the Polomolok Municipal Police Station said victims Rahman Jeorfro Sumapal, Nasser Maguisila Diamalo and Jade Jamal Abpit died instantly from bullet wounds sustained in the attack.

They were collecting coconuts in a farm at the boundary of Barangay Polonuling, Tupi and Barangay Sumbakil here when men on motorcycles arrived and shot them with pistols.

DATU ODIN SINSUAT, Maguindanao --- Anti-narcotics agents seized P102,000 worth of shabu from three operators of a mini drug den entrapped in Barangay Awang here Friday morning.

Julieto Bansigan Obregon, Marvin Orchia Ramos and Melchor Orchia Ramos, were immediately arrested after selling their illegal merchandise to non-uniformed agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.

COTABATO CITY --- A gunman shot dead a controversial Facebook commentator in an attack before dawn Friday in  Barangay Mapayag in Datu Anggal Midtimbang,  Maguindanao. 

The 38-year-old Jhanna Villegas died from gunshot wounds in her back. 

Col. Jibin Bongcayao, Maguindanao provincial police director, said Saturday investigators are still trying to identify the killer of Villegas.

Villegas was neither an employee of any media outfit nor a member of any legitimate press group here and elsewhere in central Mindanao.

COTABATO CITY - The police clamped down three drug peddlers nabbed Tuesday in Balindong town in Lanao del Sur.

Personnel of the Balindong Municipal Police Station found P34,000 worth of shabu in the hideout of Abubakar Jamail Didato, Hakim Didato and Aisah Mala Didato in Barangay Dadayag, raided and searched for drugs based on a court order.

CAMP SIONGCO, Maguindanao  - Four alleged members of New Peoples Army were killed during a law enforcement operation by elements of the 5th Special Forces Battalion and local police forces in Lake Sebu, South Cotabato.

In a statement released Sunday, 6^th Infantry Division commander Maj. Gen. Juvymax Uy, said the operation also foiled extortion activities the by suspects during an armed encounter in Sitio Limite, Upper Maculan, Lake Sebu, South Cotabato.

INILUNSAD NG PNP DATU ODIN SINSUAT, Maguindanao ang manhunt operation laban sa mga nang-ambush sa isang Sri Lankan, Indian at sa asawa nitong Maguindanaon noong linggo ng gabi.

Sinabi ni Datu Odin Sinsuat town police chief Lt. Colonel Assir Balindong na may mga lead na silang sinusundan sa kaso.  Isa aniya sa mga posibleng dahilan ng ambush ay "love triangle."

Kinilala niya ang mga nasugatan na sina Indian Andikkadan Kushi Wais, 36, at asawa nitong si Sheryhan Usman Langui, 23.  Nakaligtas naman ang Sri Lankan na si Mohamed Sideek Rifard na nagmamaneho ng Suzuki minivan.

DATU ODIN SINSUAT, Maguindanao --- An Indian national and his Filipina wife were both hurt in a gun attack Sunday night in Barangay Semba here.

The incident, which left Andikkadan Kushi Wais, 36, and his 23-year-old Maguindanaon spouse, Sheryhan Usman Langui, wounded, marred the first night of the 30-day Islamic Ramadan season in villages around the scene.

GEN. SANTOS CITY --- A big group of Police Regional Office-12 personnel have just studied an internal security course via PRO-12’s Regional Special Training Unit.

The 233 policemen and policewomen were declared graduates of the Basic Internal Security Operations Course (BISOC) during a symbolic rite on March 30, 2022, Brig. Gen. Alexander Tagum director of the Police Regional Office-12, said Monday.

The graduation rite, officiated by PRO-12 officials led by Tagum, was held at the parade ground of PRO-12 in Tambler, General Santos City.

Lumalabas sa imbestigasyon ng Kalamansig PNP, na habang nag-iinuman ang biktima at ang suspek nang magkaroon ng pagtatalo ang dalawa.

LEBAK, Sultan Kudarat --- Four in a family, two of them children, were executed gangland style by gunmen while hunting for crabs in a seaside barangay here on Tuesday afternoon.

In an initial statement Wednesday, the Lebak Municipal Police Station identified the fatalities as Jimmy Capisenio, 59, his wife Aida, 58, and their grandchildren Jimmy Pakamanan, 11, and the eight-year-old Esmairha Capisenio.
