One (1) reported death from General Santos City, the 6038th reported confirmed case, 58 years old male. Final Diagnosis is COVID-19 critical, acute respiratory failure, acute non-hemorrhagic infarct, sepsis secondary to acute otitis media, Diabetes Mellitus type II, hypertension II.

COTABATO CITY --- Marawi City Mayor Majul Gandamra tested positive for COVID-19, an official statement with his signature on it, released late Sunday, stated.

“It is with deepest concern that I wish to inform you all that despite careful and religious observance of the minimum health protocols I have been tested positive for COVID-19,” Gandamra said in his message to residents of Marawi City.

A copy of his statement was received from his office by this Catholic online news outfit early Monday.

COTABATO CITY -- The City Health Office (CHO) started Monday the vaccination rollout for 515 medical front-liners here.

City Administrator Danda Juanday, an obstetrician by profession, and four other CHO doctors, were the first to be inoculated by AstraZeneca jabs in simple ceremonies held at the city vaccination hub situated inside the Office of Health Services compound.

Also present in the ceremonial vaccination was Dr. Aristides Tan, the Department of Health–Region 12 director.

COTABATO CITY - Mas marami ang naitalang bagong kaso ng Coronavirus disease sa region 12 kaysa bilang ng mga gumaling.

Kagabi iniulat ng Department of Health ang karagdagang 22 panibagong kaso ng sakit. Sa bilang ng mga bagong kaso, labing walo ang mula sa General Santos City, tatlo sa North Cotabato at isa sa South Cotabato.

Dahil diyan sumampa na sa 5,936 ang total covid infection sa rehiyon. Gumaling naman ang walong pasyente kung kayat pumalo na sa 5,506 ang total recoveries.

Overall, there are a total of 5,914 COVID-19 confirmed cases reported to DOH CHD SOCCSKSARGEN region. 201 (3.40%) are active cases, 5,498 (92.97%) recoveries and 213 (3.60%) COVID-19 related deaths.

MANILA – The government is eyeing to conduct a simultaneous massive vaccination of different priority groups (A1 to A4) as the bulk of supplies arrives between May and June, National Task Force Against Covid-19 chief implementer and vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. said on Friday.

“We will target different sectors simultaneously para maiksi ang (so we can shorten the) time with maximum output,” Galvez said in a Palace press briefing.

KORONADAL CITY - Nabakunahan na ng Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine ang 6,733 na mga frontline health workers sa region 12.

Ang mga ito ay 75 percent sa kwalipikadong mahigit nine thousand na mga medical professionals at staff ng 23 COVID-19 referral hospitals sa rehiyon. Ang mga ito ay nabigyan ng bakuna sa pitong araw na inoculation na nagtapos noong araw ng Linggo.

Sinabi ito ni Department of Health 12 Health Education and Promotion Officer Arjohn Gangoso.

Nilinaw din ni Gangoso na ilang sa mga nabakunahan ayn nakaranas ng minor side effects.

NORTH COTABATO – Nadagdagan pa  ang naitatalang bagong kaso ng COVID-19 batay sa tala ng DOH-12 kahapon.

Sa nasabing bilang apat ang galing sa Midsayap, tatlo sa Libungan habang tig-iisa sa Carmen at Arakan.

Dahil dito nasa tatlumput anim na ang aktibong kaso ng sakit sa buong probinsya.

Samantala sa mga gumaling sa sakit, siyam rin ang naitala na mula sa probinsya.

Tig apat sa Midsayap at Kidapawan City mayroong isa naman sa bayan ng Pikit.

Dahil diyan umabot na sa 825 ang recoveries sa buong probinsya.

COTABATO CITY  – Mayor Romeo Arania of Midsayap North Cotabato has ordered the decontamination and disinfection of the municipal hall after nine of its employees have tested positive to Covid-19.

Arania said the nine employees were subjected to anti-gen test and turned out to be positive of the disease.  A confirmatory swab test has been done.

The town hall was close since Thursday afternoon and office works will resume Monday, March 15.

All the nine workers are now isolated in the town’s isolation facility while contact tracing have been on going.
