COTABATO CITY --- The Bangsamoro health ministry turned over Monday an ambulance and a refrigerated vaccine transport vehicle to Maguindanao province to boost domestic COVID-19 containment initiatives.

The IPHO-Maguindanao covers 36 towns in the two congressional districts of the province.

Physician Amirel Usman, health minister of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, personally turned over the equipment to Elizabeth Samama, chief of IPHO-Maguindanao, during a simple rite at the Provincial Hospital compound in Shariff Aguak town.

Kagabi, naitala sa rehiyon ang karagdagang 55 panibagong kaso ng COVID-19 kung kayat pumalo na sa 4,534 ang total cases.

27 sa mga bagong kaso ay mula sa General Santos City, 16 North Cotabato, 10 South Cotabato at tig-iisa sa Sultan Kudarat at Sarangani.

Ayon pa sa DOH-12, 24 naman ang gumaling pa sa COVID-19.

Dahil dito, umakyat na sa 3,880 ang total recoveries ng COVID-19 sa SOCCSKSARGEN region.

COTABATO CITY  - An Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) here was traced by the National Bureau of Investigation here and is now under isolation, health officials said.

Dr. Ameril Usman, officer-in-charge of Ministry of Health in Bangsamoro Region, which covers also Cotabato City, has confirmed the OFW patient is being monitored closely by health officials.

“According to our surveillance officer, he is on quarantine and still waiting for the official result, if he turned out positive that will be the time we will send genetic sequencing to Manila,” he said.

COTABATO CITY -- Sixteen more patients positive of the novel coronavirus 2019 have been added to the rising cases of infections in the Bangsamoro Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

In a bulletin, the BARMM Inter-Agency TAsk Force on Covid-19 reported that of the 16 new cases, 10 were from Lanao del Sur and Marawi City, four in Cotabato City and one each in Maguindanao and Basilan.

COTABATO CITY - The Department of Health in the Soccsksargen region on Saturday reported that 43 persons across the region have contracted the novel coronavirus 2019, raising the total confirmed cases in the region to 4,377.

Twenty-five persons have recovered from the disease.

The region has 500 active cases as of Saturday.

COTABATO CITY - Sa magkasunod na apat na araw, mas marami ang mga naitatalang bilang ng mga nagpopositibo sa Coronavirus disease sa Region 12 kaysa mga gumagaling.

Kahapon, iniulat ng Department of Health ang 28 panibagong COVID-19 infections kung kayat umakyat na sa 4,155 ang total cases sa Rehiyon.

14 sa mga bagong kaso ay taga Sultan Kudarat kung saan pinakamarami parin sa mga ito ay mula sa Tacurong City, 9 South Cotabato at 5 General Santos City.

COTABATO CITY - Twenty six person have been tested positive of Covid-19 as of Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021, the Department of Health today said.

As of this afternoon, 12 patients have also recovered and were heading for home.

A 50-year-old female from Gen. Santos City has died due to Covid-related diseases

"Overall,there are a total of 4,127 COVID-19 confirmed cases reported to DOH CHD SOCCSKSARGEN region. 447 are active cases, 3,532 recoveries and 147 COVID-19 related deaths," DOH-12 said.

KORONADAL CITY (Jan. 16) -- Thirty packs of pork chorizo were confiscated by the Provincial Veterinary Office in Tampakan, South Cotabato Friday.

With the help of Office of the Municipal Agriculture Office (OMAg), 10 of these products were sezied in Barangay Sta Cruz while the other 20 packs were recovered in Barangay Maltana.

The provincial veterinary office said the food packs have no label and confirmed to have come fro Davao City.

COTABATO CITY - Six new cases have been reported in the Bangsamoro Region in Muslim Mindanao as of Thursday night, the Bangsamoro Inter-Agency Task Force on Infectious Diseases said.

Fourteen patients have recovered, it said.

Kahapon din, iniulat na may 28 mga pasyente ang gumaling at nakauwi na sa kanilang mga bahay.

Wala namang iniulat na nasawi kahapon.

Overall, meron nang 4,101 COVID-19 confirmed cases sa Soccsksargen. Sa bilang na ito ay 434 ang active cases, 3,520 na ang gumaling at 146 ng total Covid related deaths.
