COTABATO CITY  – Three persons have died in a day due to complications brought about by COVID-19 infections in Wao, Lanao del Sur, the town disaster officer today said.

Francis Garcia, Wao municipal disaster risk reduction and management council (MDRRMC) action officer, said one of the three fatalities were buried while the two other fatalities were brought to Cagayan de Oro for cremation.

However, the two COVID fatalities were sent back to Wao after learning that the crematorium in Cagayan de Oro has shut down.

COTABATO CITY - Five patients have died due to complications to COVID-19, the Cotabato City Health Office reported Saturday.

As of today, the city has 248 active cases with 29 new infections with 10 patients getting healed.

Cotabato City Mayor Cynthia Guiani Sayadi again reiterated the observance of strict health protocols to help prevent the spread of the deadly disease.  

COTABATO CITY - Dagdag na 88,200 vials ng sinovac vaccine at 1,365 na vials ng Pfizer -BioNtech dumating sa Region 12 kahapon.

Ang Department of Health-12 ay tumanggap mula sa national government ng karagdagang 88,200 vials ng sinovac vaccine at 1,365 na vials ng Pfizer -BioNtech na mga bakuna para sa COVID-19.

Dumating ito kahapon ng umaga via Philippine Airlines sa Awang Airport, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao.

Ang naturang karagdagang mga supply ay laan para sa mga residente ng rehiyon, batay sa prioritization criteria ng pamahalaan.

MANILA – The National Task Force against Covid-19 (NTF) is eyeing to expand the country's vaccination program to the general public and children with comorbidities by October.

In an interview at the Kapihan sa Manila Bay news forum on Wednesday, NTF chief implementer Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. said the government is already preparing for the expansion of the vaccine rollout to other sectors of society.
