Si Kapitan o si "Kap" ay siyang mamamahala ng Barangay Local Government Unit o BLGUs.

Ang Ministry of the Interior and Local Govenrment (MILG) sa Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) ay nagpalabas nitong infomercial o information and education materials hinggil sa kung ano-ano nga ba ang mga trabaho at responsibilidad ng isang Punong Barangay alinsunod sa RA 7160 o Local Government Code of 1991?

COTABATO CITY— Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) who were forced to flee their homes due to armed conflicts in Ampatuan, Maguindanao del Norte are soon to find solace in permanent houses, courtesy of the Bangsamoro Government.

The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD), through its Bahay Program, led on Oct. 3 the groundbreaking ceremony to commence the construction of the 74 housing units at Barangay Salman. The project received funding amounting to P37-million and is expected to be completed by December.

COTABATO CITY - Volunteer eye doctors and health advocacy groups on Wednesday provided 190 poor Muslim and Christian cataract and pterygium patients here with medical interventions free.

The multi-sector eye care mission at the Zenaida Subdivision here that also benefited members of the non-Moro ethnic Teduray tribe was facilitated by the office of a popular member of the 80-seat Bangsamoro parliament, the physician-ophthalmologist Kadil Sinolinding, Jr.

COTABATO CITY - Bangsamoro Interior Minister Naguib Sinarimbo, representing BARMM cheif Minsiter Ahod Ebrahim, served as the Guest of Honor and Speaker during the Grand Culmination of Stakeholders’ Summit for Unity and Peace and Send-Off Ceremony for BSKE 2023 on October 25, 2023 held at Parade Ground, Camp BGen Salipada K Pendatun, Parang, Maguindanao del Norte.

Approximately 1,900 contingents from national capital region, Regions 10, 11 and 12 were deployed at the various polling stations in the AOR of Police Regional Office Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (PRO-BAR).

COTABATO CITY – Bangsamoro government Interior Minister Naguib Sinarimbo has condemned the killing of the son of Datu Edris Ayunan and two others in Barangay Rosary Heights 12 on Monday night.

“I condemn in the strongest terms possible the killing of the son of Datu Edris Ayunan together with the 2 others and the wounding of two more in Barangay Rosary Heights 12, Cotabato City on the night of October 23, 2023,” Sinarimbo, a lawyer, said in a statement.

COTABATO CITY — In a significant leap toward embracing the digital age, the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) unveiled the newly-furnished and expanded Ministry of the Interior and Local Government (MILG) building.
 
This state-of-the-art facility, inaugurated on Oct 10, 2023, now serves as the home for a regional digital data center poised to revolutionize public service accessibility.
 
MILG Minister Atty. Naguib Sinarimbo said this expansion was driven by the increasing number of personnel within the ministry.
 

COTABATO CITY ― BARMM Chief Minister Ahod Balawag Ebrahim officially submitted the proposed budget for the region's 2024 fiscal year, totaling P98.46 billion, with education, infrastructure, and health as the top three priorities.

Chief Minister Ebrahim personally handed over the proposed 2024 Bangsamoro Expenditure Program (BEP) to Bangsamoro Parliament Speaker Atty. Pangalian Balindong during a symbolic ceremony on October 24.

COTABATO CITY – To finalize the fare rates and transportation routes that will be adopted by public utility vehicle (PUV) operators in this city, the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC) spearheaded a public consultation on October 18.

Organized by MOTC’s Bangsamoro Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (BLTFRB), the consultation gathered insights from all stakeholders, such as transport groups, academe, local government unit, and commuters including students, persons with disabilities, and senior citizens.
