CARMEN, North Cotabato — Sa pagpapatuloy na matupad ang misyon na makapaghandog ng kalidad na edukasyon, itinurnover ng Ministry of Basic, Higher, and Technical Education (MBHTE) ng Bangsamoro Government ang two-storey school building na nagkakahalaga ng P20-milyon sa Kibayao High School sa Special Geographic Area (SGA) .

Matatagpuan ang Barangay Kibayao, walong kilometro sa Kanluran ng bayan ng Carmen. Ito ay isang first class na munisipalidad sa Cotabato Province na siyang pinanggalingan ng bayang ito matapos ang matagumpay na plebesito noong 2019.

COTABATO CITY - The Ministry of Interior and Local Government (MILG) officially opened its first barangay hall for Cotabato City today in Bagua 1, the first of nine government facilities currently being built in the city.

The two-story facility will house the barangay council and officials, provide a venue for services and activities, and promote the presence of the Bangsamoro Government.

MILG Minister Atty. Naguib Sinarimbo attended the event and stressed the regional government's goals of becoming an efficient and trusted government.

MAGUINDANAO DEL SUR - A total of 175 household beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) officially exited the program during the Pugay-Tagumpay graduation ceremony on November 20, 2023, at the gymnasium in Shariff Aguak, Maguindanao del Sur.

Along with certificates of recognition for the 175 households, each of them also received Php 15,000 as livelihood capital through the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) to further uplift their socio-economic conditions as they exit from the program.

COTABATO CITY - Bangsamoro officials on Sunday turned over a modern 2-storey municipal hall in Butig, Lanao del Sur as efforts to make governance felt even in remote and critical areas continue across the region.

"We turned-over and inaugurated yesterday, November 19, the modern two storey Municipal Hall of Butig, Lanao del Sur, funded by our Ministry," lawyer Naguib Sinarimbo, minister of the interior and the local government of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) said Monday.

SHARIFF AGUAK, Maguindanao del Sur — Through Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim’s Kapayapaan sa Pamayanan (KAPYANAN) Program, the Bangsamoro Government envisions to distributing more shelters to thousands of internally displaced persons (IDPs) in the region.
 
On November 15, a total of 100 core shelters were officially distributed to the beneficiaries of the program in Maguindanao del Sur. Of these, 50 were turned over to residents of Barangay Bagong Upam in Shariff Aguak, and the remaining 50 were given to beneficiaries in Barangay Sugadol, Datu Abdullah Sangki.
 

The South Korean government continues to reach out to the Bangsamoro people, this time in providing support to the community resilience of children in conflict. 

On Thursday, the Bangsamoro Government, together with the Government of the Republic of Korea through the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) launched in Cotabato City a collaborative program to strengthen community resilience and services for children, adolescents, and women living in vulnerable communities.

THE Presidential appointment of Abdulraof Macacua as governor of Maguindanao del Norte has never been questioned in court, but only in the grapevine—colloquially, “marites,” according to Minister Naguib Sinarimbo of the Bangsamoro Ministry of the Interior and Local Government.  

Sinarimbo, a lawyer, also said the power of the President to appoint local officials, has not yet been questioned in the Supreme Court.

COTABATO CITY - Officials will inaugurate on Sunday a new municipal hall in the hometown of the founders of the long-decimated Maute terror group that had ranted noisily about poor governance in the area and lack of public service facets for marginalized residents.

The construction of the P25 million worth local government operations center in the hinterland Butig municipality in the first district of Lanao del Sur was bankrolled by the regional government of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao via its Ministry of the Interior and Local Government (MILG).

MANILA - The Supreme Court on Monday ordered Bai Fatima Ainee L. Sinsuat (Sinsuat), Vice Governor of the Province of Maguindanao del Norte, to show cause within 10 days from notice why she should not be cited in contempt for her failure to promptly inform the Court of her appointment, oath taking, and assumption as Vice Governor of the said province.
