COTABATO CITY -- The Cotabato Light and Power Company (Cotabato Light) today announced the scheduled power service interruption in its area of operation due to National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) scheduled power interruption along the Sultan Kudarat-Datu Saudi Ampatuan 69kV line.

The NGCP activity will affect the power in Cotabato Light franchise area.

P3.4-M worth of shabu seized, 5 nabbed in Cotabato City

COTABATO CITY -- Another five hundred grams of shabu were seized and five drug suspects arrested during a buy-bust operation in the vicinity of Chowking fast-food, Purok Central, Sinsuat Avenue, Cotabato City, on November 11, 2023.

The suspects, Usman Camit Musa, also known as Usmer, Al Raji Mlok Bayam, Kenedy Manampen Baraguir, also known as Keny, Bailing Saavedra Bagundang, and Sahara Bagundang Tiang, are now detained at the PDEA BARMM Jail Facility, while cases for violations of Republic Act 9165, as amended by Republic Act No. 10640, are being prepared against them.

Cops arrest suspect behind cars burning in GenSan

COTABATO CITY - The police is now in custody of one of at least six suspects in the burning of seven high-end vehicles parked in different spots in General Santos City late Thursday.

General Santos City police officials said on Saturday that the 30-year-old Caydence Clark Gulmatico, now detained, had promised to help locate his accomplices, subject of an extensive manhunt now.

Militiaman nabbed for peddling shabu in Tacurong City

TACURONG CITY  -- After weeks of surveillance, an active member of Civilian Armed Forces Geographical Unit (CAFGU) was arrested here Saturday by anti=narcotics and police operatives during buy bust operation and seized from him over PHP2 million worth of shabu.

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Soccsksargen Region Director Aileen Lovitos identified the suspect as Norodin Midtimbang, 30, a resident of Abdullah Sangki, Maguindanao del Sur and member of the para-military unit.
