Top 4 most wanted couple in illegal drug trade arrested

COTABATO CITY - A couple suspected of peddling illegal drugs in Maguindanao and Cotabato City was arrested by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) agents during 1 a.m.raid today.In a statement, PDEA in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (PDEA-ARMM) identified the couple as Haron Macmod, 37 and his wife Annabelle Usman, 31, who were both among the top three in thePDEA wanted list.Armed with a search warrant issued by Judge Bansawan Ibrahim of RTC-13, PDEA-ARMM agents and Datu Odin town police operatives raided the house of Macmod inUpper Capiton, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao at past 12 midnight.The raiding team seized two huge sachets of shabu containing 25 grams each with an estimated streetvalue of P100,000.PDEA-ARMM said Macmod has been arrested for illegal drug trade several yearsago in Davao City but managed to secure liberty after the case against him did not prosper.
