NDBC COVID 19 WATCH: 24 new infections, 9 recoveries in Region 12 on New Year's Day

COTABATO CITY - At the start of 2021, the Department of Health in the Soccsksargen region has reported 24 new confirmed Covid 19 cases and nine patients who recovered from the disease.
Over-all, the Soccsksargen region has listed a total of 4,720 confirmed cases of Covid-19 and 329 of these are still active. There were 4,223 patients who have survived the virus and 167 were listed to have died due to Covid related diseases.
Of the new cases, 17 were from Gen. Santos City, five in Cotabato City, two in Sultan Kudarat, particularly one in Kalamansig and one in Tacurong City.
