Miss Banga is Mutya ng South Cotabato 2015
KORONADAL CITY -- A third year Bachelor of Science in Mathematics student, representingBanga town, was crowned Mutya ng South Cotabato 2015 during the pageant night Thursday with Christian Bautista and Bb Pilipinas Universe Mary Jean Lastimosa as hosts.The audience roared as the name of Jenny Rose Rabia, the No. 9 bet,was announced as this year's Mutya ng South Cotabato.Rabia's responses to interview portion did it in for her, observers said.She bested 11 other aspirants in the pageant that capped this year's 16th T'nalak Festival and 49th South Cotabato foundation anniversary. Rabia also captured the best in interview award whileJean Pauline Arnaiz, representing Koronadal City, was Mutya ng South Cotabato Tourism. Arnaiz also won the Miss Photogenic and Best in Dance T'naak Genre Hay Coutoure awards. Candidate No. 1Ivory Grace Durana, representing South Cotabato Chamber of Commerce and Industrywas named Mutya ng Culture and Arts. She displayed elegantly the T’nalak Dance Hau’ Couture by Archie Castillo who was also namedbest designer. Second Runner Up award went to Kim Gomez who represented the South Cotabato Tourism Council. She also won the Best in Swimsuit and Best T'nalak Glomour Gown awards.Danah Grace Lingas, presentingTantangan got the 1stRunner Up award. This year's Mutya earned the votes of members of the board of judges with her answers to questions how she can help prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS.Confidently she said the women of today play a major and significant roles in preventing the spread of disease. She declared it will be among his advocacy after winning the coveted crown aside from being South Cotabato's ambassadress of goodwill.The eight day celebration will end with a street dancing competitions and closing program with Senator Grace Poe as among the guests of honorand speaker.
