Another ex-minister reveals anomaly inside INC
MANILA - Another tiniwalag (expelled) minister of Iglesia ni Cristo today corroborated the claims of Nathaniel Angel Manalo of rampant corruption inside the most influential religious group in the country. Corruption thrive in the highest echelon of INC, ex-minister Isaias SamsonJr. said in Filipino as reported by print, radio and TV news outfits.Samson, former editor in chief of the INC's official publication Pasugo, said he was a personal witness to the corrupt practicessuch asirregular use of the church funds. Samson, who claimed he and his family is now hiding because armed men of the INC leaders were out of harm them, cited the case of collected tithes from INC members abroad. These tithes were collected by some ministers without proper recording so nobody among us know where the funds really go, he told a news conference.Since he was a personal witness, Samson said he told the highest leadership of the Church but his complaints fell on deaf ears.Samson said the anomalies were done by the Sanggunian the council of advisers to INC Executive MinisterEduardo Manalo.He revealed that he and his family were held hostage by the Sanggunian when he started questioning the finances of the Church. After a week being prevented from leaving homes andof being incommunicado, Samson said his family disguised to attend samba or Church activities and fled.Edwil Zabala, INC spokesperson, repeatedly denied all the issues hurled against the INC leadership.Angel aired serious allegations of harassment and abduction involving some ministers and members of the INC which then spread out to various social media platforms.Angel is grandson to INC’s founding father Felix, son to the late executive minister, Eraño, and brother to the current leader, Eduardo.
