Bong Go seeks presidency, PRRD his running mate

MANILA, Philippines -- Senator Christopher Bong Go withdraw from his vice presidential bid to run for president with Pres. Rody Duterte as his running mate.

Both God and Duterte showed up at the Comelec office this afternoon to file thier certificate of substitution.

Go is not running under the PDP-Laban party but he is the standard bearer of Pederalismo ng Dugong Dakilang Samahan (PDDS) party.

Go pushes for cash incentives to raise vaccine confidence among 4Ps

 

"Mahirap maging mahirap. Kaya huwag nang pahirapan pa ang mga naghihirap."

Senator Christopher "Bong" Go appealed to the government to provide cash incentives to vaccinated Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) members to encourage more of them to get their COVID-19 vaccines instead of making vaccination mandatory. Such incentives will be on top of what 4Ps beneficiaries receive in accordance with the law.

Bong Go extends support to the struggling communities in Agusan del Sur

As he remains committed to help Filipinos uplift their living conditions amid the national health crisis, Senator Christopher “Bong” Go had his team distribute assistance to 1,160 struggling residents in Esperanza, Agusan del Sur on Monday, November 8.

Go’s staff organized the distribution activities at the respective covered courts of the municipality and Brgy. Labao. They split the beneficiaries into smaller groups and implemented necessary safety and health protocols to avoid the further spread of coronavirus.

Bong Go “hoping for the best” amid speculations about Mayor Sara 

Senator Christopher “Bong” Go said that he does not want to speculate on plans of the Duterte family following the withdrawal of Mayor Sara Duterte from the Davao City mayoral race in the 2022 elections. He, however, stressed that he is “hoping for the best.”

“Ayoko munang mag-speculate ‘no kung ano ‘yung plano ng pamilya at ako naman po ay may partido kasama si Pangulong Duterte, desisyon niya po ito, at desisyon ng partido na tumakbo po ako na bise presidente,” said Go in an ambush interview after delivering aid to struggling residents of Antipolo City on Tuesday, November 9.

Sara withdraws from mayoralty race; Baste replaces her

DAVAO CITY - Mayor Sara Z. Duterte on Tuesday afternoon withdrew her re-election bid and named her brother, Vice Mayor Sebastian "Baste" Duterte, as her substitute.

In a Facebook post, the presidential daughter said her brother, who has also officially backed out of the vice mayoral race, will now be substituted by lawyer Melchor Quitain Jr.

“This is all for now. Thank you very much,” Sara added.

Groups join Metro Manila caravan to show support for Go’s VP bid

Sectors from various walks of life showed their support for the vice presidential bid of Senator Christopher “Bong” Go as they attended a Metro Manila caravan on Sunday, November 7.

The motorcade began on J.W. Diokno Boulevard in Pasay City and continued through the Epifanio delos Santos Avenue to Monumento in Caloocan City. Thereafter, it returned to the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City.

‘Malasakit’ anytime, anywhere, says Bong Go as he extends help to vendors, fire victims Maguindanao

Senator Christopher “Bong” Go's outreach team organized a relief effort in Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao on Thursday, November 4, to help residents affected by fires in a public market and a residential area in Sitio Abubakar in Barangay Crossing Simuay late last October.

In a video message, Go assured that the country’s fire prevention and response efforts will be strengthened following the recent enactment of Republic Act No. 11589, also known as the Bureau of Fire Protection Modernization Act.

Bong Go supports party decision in fielding candidates for 2022 election

In an ambush interview after his monitoring visit of the Malasakit Center at the Ospital ng Palawan in Puerto Princesa, Senator Christopher "Bong" Go reaffirmed his support for PDP-Laban’s decisions in fielding candidates in the forthcoming 2022 elections. He emphasized that the party's presidential candidate is Senator Ronald "Bato" dela Rosa.

“Sa ngayon po, siyempre may partido kami. Ang Presidente ng aming partido na kandidato ay si Bato. So we have to follow the decision… sa aming partido na PDP-Laban,” said Go during the interview on Wednesday, November 3.
