Cops arrest 4 suspected drug peddlers in Norala.

KORONADAL CITY (Sept. 22) --At least P30,000 worth of illegal drugs were seized by the police from three siblings and another suspectin anti drug operation in Norala, South Cotabato, Sunday morning, police said today. Senior Inspector Dennis Madriaga, Norala police chief,said that at least 20 grams of suspected shabu was recovered from Joel Barnuevo while various small sachet of the said illegal drugs were recovered from siblings Joel and Jeoffrey Dela Cruz and their sister Jennifer Dela Cruz Villanueva. This is the biggest volume of drugs we have recovered so far,” Madriaga told DXOM-FM Koronadal. Armed with a search warrant the police raided the house of Joel Dela Cruz in Barangay Poblacion, Noralawhich resulted to the arrest of his siblings and Barnuevo. A case of Violation of Republic Act (RA) 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) is now being prepared against the suspects.
