COTABATO CITY -- The City Engineers’
Office (CEO) here has started implementing infrastructure projects scheduled
for this year with P8-million funding from the City Government.
According to Engr. Samuel Jorolan, city
engineer, the projects include the concreting key streets in the city among
which are San Antonio Street in Rosary Heights 11, Rufo Mañara Sreet going to L.R
Sebastian Elementary School, Yap-Sia Street and Delcano Street in Rosary

Each of the concreting projects has a

Jorolan, is Quiñones Street in Rosary Heights 12 with an allocation of P1

and another P4 million for the earth filling of various barrio streets in the
city.
Engr. Jorolan said their priority
projects for this year include the re-blocking of sections of Magallanes Street,
Makakua Street and Almonte Street.
Also in their sights are the regular vegetation
control along city streets and cleaning of drainage canals in the city’s
downtown area, both year-long activities. They will start in March.
Jorolan added they are also looking
forward to special projects supported by Chinese investors like the
construction of an international airport terminal at Tamontaka 3 and 4, the
construction of a city port at Timako in Kalanganan 2 and the construction of a
