COTABATO CITY -- A holdupper is now languishing in jail following his arrest after he held-up a beauty salon, police said.Armed with a hand gun and wearing bonnet to cover his face,Demosthenes Acohon Bayatan alias Razdar Regacho, 23 of Dapdap area, Barangay Rosary Heights, Cotabato City entered a Salon located at 2nd Floor of HJ Building along SK Pendatun Avenue.Once inside, he declared hold-up and took away valuables. But alert policemen arrived on time and collared Bayatan.Recovered from him were gold rings, silver earrings, silver bracelet, necklace, tablet computer and P2,000 cash.
A student also reported to police station 1, according to Senior Insp. Efren Salazar, station chief, and complained he was a victim of hold-up.Monica Gampong identified Bayatan as the same person who using his cal. 38 revolver forcibly took his mobile phone.Bayatan is now detained at police station 1 lock up cell.
