DATUODINSINSUAT,Maguidnanao(June26)-Atleast sixpersonswerekilled,includingaminor,inahighwayaccidenthereSundayafternoonafteraspeedingpassengerToyotaTownAceheadingtoIsulan,SultanKudaratsideswipedacargotruck,policesaid.Accordingto a trafficinvestigator ofDatuOdinSinsuat policeoffice,theaccidenthappenedat2:30p.m.alongthenationalhighwayinBarangayPinguiaman,DatuOdinSinsuat,Maguindanao.IdrisSimpan,aresidentofBarangayPinguiaman,saidthespeedingViolet-coloredjeepneysideswipedadumptruckloadedwithsandandgravel,hittingthepassengers’headandback. Wesawfourpersonsdeadonthespotduetohead injuries,”Simpansaid. Theywerethosesittingatthebackofthedriver,”headded.ThepassengerjeepandtruckdriverswerealsoinjuredandwererushedtoCotabatoRegionalandMedicalCenteralongwithotherinjuredpassengers.Policewerestillinvestigatingtheincidentafterseveralpassengerstoldtrafficproberstheunidentifiedjeepneydriverwasbusyusinghismobilephoneshortlybeforetheaccident.
