UBJP, MILF support VP Robredo's presidential bid

CAMP DARAPANAN, Maguindanao -- The leadership of the Moro Islammic Liberation Front (MILF) and its political arm, the United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP), today endorsed Vie President Leni Robredo's presidential bid.
Robredo flew to Maguindanao to be present during the formal declaration of support that came as she celebrates her birthday.
It was the first time that the MILF has publicly declare support to a presidential aspirant.
Atty. Naguib Sinarimbo, UBJP secretary general, said VP Robredo flew in from Manila even if she was i the thick of her campaign event in Pasig to be with the MILF leadership, an act indicating her concern for the Bangsamoro.
Sianrimbo said the party decision to endorse VP Robredo came after a series of consultations with party members and leaders as well as evaluation on the qualifications of all presidential aspirants.
