Aid starts coming to Jolo fire victims

AWANG, Maguindanao -- The Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao- Humanitarian Emergency Action Response Team (ARMM-HEART), on orders of ARMM Gov. Mujiv Hataman, is now on its way to Jolo to deliver relief and emergency assistance to victims of yesterday's fire.Initial reports said more than 2,000 families have been affected by the fires that hit Bus-Bus district, Barangay Lambayong and Walled City.Myrna Jo Henry, speaking for ARMM-HEART, said relief workers will distributed food packs and non-food times for the affected families.Photos below from Ms. Jo Henry show goods are loaded to a Philippine Air Force plane bound for Jolo.
