Abdul and Ayob
were on board a motorbike at the city proper when they noticed police cars and
police officers conducting routine patrol.

A soon as the
two saw the police vehicle, they sped away that led police officers to suspect
they have ill motives and their motorbike had no license plate.

They were
cornered near the new terminal site along Jessie Robredo Avenue.

When frisked,
the suspects yielded three master keys for motorcycle, various keys, a huge
pack of shabu, drug paraphernalia, a cal. 45 pistol, bullets and fragmentation grenade.

Salcedo said
the crime group, after getting motorobikes, would rush to an undisclosed area
in Maguindanao where the motorbikes are chopped into various spare parts.

Salcedo said
police CCTV footage show the suspects to be behind the series of motorbike
theft in the city.
