Chocos for heroesand Mindanao youth sends chocolates to soldiers in Marawi

KORONADAL CITY – Karton karton na mga tsokolate ang ipinadala ng mga batang taga Mindanao para sa mga sundalong itinuturing na bayani sa patuloy pang sagupaan ng Armed Force of the Philippines at grupo ng Maute ISIS sa Marawi City.Ang nasabing mga chocolate ay mula mismo sa iba’t ibang paaralan sa Mindanao na nilikom ng grupong Mindanao youth for peace movement. The group said the first attempt to gather chocolates for government forces had resulted into massive collection of 6,000 pieces of chocolate bars and enery chocolate biscuits with accompanying messages to the soldiers.Some of the chocolates were dedicated to injured soldiers, the youth group said in a statement even as it appealed for more chocolate donations and to include short messages for them.Why chocolate? The Mindanao youth said chocolate can energize the battle-fatigue soldiers.
