SoCot teen raped by dad, uncles, grandpa

SOUTH COTABATO - A 15-year-old girl here claimed she had been repeatedly molested sexually by her own father, her uncles and even her grandfather.DXOM-AM Radyo Bida Koronadal withheld the identities of the rape survivor and other personalities involved in the crime, including the town where they live, to protect them from humiliation.Relatives sought police assistance and arrested the girl's father while manhunt had been launched against her two uncles who she claimed to have been molesting her for so long.The child showed unusual emotional and psychological behavior while in school that caught the attention of her classroom teacher.Asked what bothered her, the child revealed her traumatic experience. She said out of fear she will be harmed by those who molested her, she kept her ordeal to herself.This led the teacher to seek help from the girl's other relatives and went straight to the police.Police said the father is now behind bars but denied the allegations. Police are also hunting down the girl's uncles. The grandfather died few years ago.The local social welfare office also took custody of the girl's younger sibling, 14, who they suspected to have been victimized by the suspects too.Her parents have parted ways with her mother now in Davao City and have her own family.
