GEN. SANTOS CITY – Police arrested
here the No.3 most wanted kidnapper during the serving of warrants of arrest.
Police Chief Inspector Renato
Salarda, Gen. Santos City Police Station 2 chief, in his report to Supt. Romeo
Galgo, PRO-12 spokesperson, said joint elements of local police and the Camp
Crame-based PNP Anti-Kidnapping Group, arrested Emily Pedecio Pedtukasan.
The operation was conducted in Silway
district, Sta. Cruz, Barangay West, General Santos City.
Salarda said Pedtucasan carry
the aliases Princess Montalla, Irene and Sheika Mala Nalaunan.
He did not resist arrest.The lawmen, according to Supt.
Galgo, were armed with arrest warrants for kidnapping and illegal detention
issued by Judge Lacsaman M. Busran, acting presiding judge of RTC 11th
Judicial Region Branch 36, General Santos City.
Salarda said Pedtucasan was arrested
at her residence with the presence of Mr. Rustico Giral, purok chairman of Purok
Sta. Cruz, Silway, General Santos City.
He said the arrest of
Pedtucasan was the product of Month-long casing/surveillance of Joint PNP
Operating Operatives.
Suspect was immediately brought
to Police Station 02 for proper documentation and disposition. Progress report
follows.The police did not say who was Pedtucasan's alleged victims.
