This is to be prayed by the people before the conclusion of the Prayer of the Faithful at the Simbang Gabi, night of December 31, 2016. This is to end the old year and begin the New Year, the Solemnity of Mary Mother of God. DEDICATION OF CATHOLIC FAMILIESTO THE HOLY FAMILY OF NAZARETHJesus, Mary and Joseph,we praise, glorify and thank youas the sublime family, the example of a sanctuary of love and life, a living Gospel, the image of God’s mercy and compassion.O Holy Family of Nazareth,we dedicate to you our familiesamidst the difficulties that we daily face.May we be families of love and prayer, constantly united with our loving God.May we be protected from all fear and insecurity, from all harm, spiritual, physical, and material.May God our Father give us strengthin our daily striving to do His will.May the Holy Spirit inspire and guide usto reach out to other families,especially to those in need.May we experience the loving presence of Jesusin the joys and sorrows of our lives.We commit ourselves in mercy and compassionto be mindful of the needs of other families,especially of families in the margins of our society.
