DXMS Radyo Bida's Simbahang Naglalakbay program host dies

COTABATO CITY -- An active Church lay worker who hosts the Archdiocese of Cotabato radio program over DXMS Radyo Bida passed away Tuesday after suffering stroke on Thursday.Rachel Ate Ching Ayupan expired at 9:30 a.m. at the Cotabato Regional and Medical Center due to blood clot on her brain, reports said.At the time of her death, Ayupan hosts Simbahang Naglalakbay program over DXMS-AM every Friday evening and currently a village councilwoman of Barangay Sarmiento, Parang, Maguindanao.She was one of the first volunteers of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate and Archdiocese of Cotabato working for youth ministry.Ate Ching was more known as peace advocate, environmentalist, cyclist, Church lay worker, friendly, jolly and has big heart for less privileged children.Her remains now lie in state at her home in Barangay Sarmiento.The Notre Dame Broadcasting Corporation joins her family in remembering Ate Ching.
