DAR-ARMM holds LCMS orientation training

COTABATO CITY – The Department of Agrarian Reform of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (DAR-ARMM) has conductedaLegal Case Monitoring System (LCMS)orientation training for DAR provincial employees from Basilan, Sulu andTawi-Tawi. The orientation was held from October 10 to 11 atPahali Suites inZamboangaCity.The activity aimed at improving the participants’ skills inrecording, monitoring and updating of pertinent data related to reportedagrarian-relatedcases. It also looked into generating efficient ways of monitoring and reporting of the DAR-ARMM legal division’s accomplishments.LCMS is a component of the Agrarian Legal Services, a major program of the department. The web-based monitoring system is applied in the resolution of agrarian cases nationwide.Cases from DAR offices from various regions areentered into the system providing DAR personnel an easy access to information on those cases as well as their status.Thus, it enablesthe agency to effectively dispense agrarian justice services to stakeholders. Furthermore,italsoallowslitigants to inquire about the status of their cases online.The orientation training’s resource speakers were EstellitaG. Tierra, Elizabeth F.Damasco,ShielaT. David, Nestor C.Bayonetoand Atty. Robert Anthony P. Yu from the DAR central office. Theywerewelcomed byAtty.Renato D. Magno, the DAR-ARMM’s Legal Division Chief.Legal officers and LCMS focal personswho participated in the activity manifested their preparedness in reporting their accomplishments and updating each case’s statusefficiently.The participantswere able to come up with strategies in dealing withissues on internet connectivityand access to the LCMS website. The orientation clarified concerns and issues pertainingto LCMS as well as highlighted the importance ofprompt reporting and updating of their monthlyAgrarian Legal Servicesreport.
