RDC 12 backs DOST 12 halal advocacy

KORONADAL CITY
(Sept. 25) – The Regional Development Council 12, in its regular meeting
Tuesday, backed the request of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST 12)
for the promotion of its halal laboratory in Cotabato City.
Arturo Valero,
RDC-12 acting chairperson, said request was favorably endorsed by the RDC
because it will ensure 100 percent Philippine Halal products.
Valero said
the RDC expects DOST 12 and other government information dissemination arm to
conduct massive information drive to educate food manufacturers and the general
public.
