Kidapawan pedicab driver shot dead

(UPDATE) KIDAPAWAN CITY (Sept. 23) -- Unidentified gunmen shot dead Tuesday afternoon a tricycle driver who was trying to make both ends meet by hauling passengers here.Police identified the victim as Boyet Palaca of legal age and a
resident of Barangay Mateo, Kidapawan City. The victim was on board his motorcycle when the
suspects riding on a motorcycle shot him with a hand gun at 3:30 p.m.Palaca sustained multiple gunshot wounds in the different parts
of his body. He died on the spot. Authorities are yet to determine and identities of the attackers.Later in the afternoon, police investigatorsfound four suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride substance or shabu contained in heat-sealed sachet, a hand gun and bullets.In a report sent to Supt. Gilbert Tuzon, Kidapawan City police chief, said the items were taken from Palaca's sling bag.
