Lebak PNP One Time Big Time nets 4 illegal drug suspects, guns

LEBAK, Sultan Kudarat -- Four persons have been arrested by police authorities here following the implementation of One Time Big Time Operation over the weekend.In a statement issued by Police Chief Inspector Benhur Catcatan,Lebak Municipal Police Office officer-in-charge, said one of thosearrested was Haron Gonda of Barangay Kinudalan. The raiding team seized 17 sachets of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu, a cal. 38 revolver,P200 cash drug money and other shabu paraphernalia.Also arrested was Babo Erna in Barangay Poblacion, Lebak, Sultan Kudarat. Seized from Erna were three sachets of shabu, shabu paraphernalia and P200 cash marked money.Rogelio Traya y Villar (alia Bon-bon Villar”) of Barangay Aurelio Freires Sr, Lebak was arrested and yielded seven sachets of shabu, P200 drug money and other shabu paraphernalia.Ali Sali of Barangay Poblacion was also arrested on the basis of a search warrant issued by a local court.The raiding team composed of Lebak PNP, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group and Sultan Kudarat provincial intelligence battalion, seized 13 sachets of shabu, a cal. 45 pistol, ammunition for cal. 45 pistol and M-16 Armalite rifles, and shabu paraphernalia.The Lebak PNP said police also seized P1,040 cash money from Sali.All the suspects have been charged for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, illegal possession of firearms and election gun ban law.
