COTABATO CITY - Netizens have lambasted presidential aspirant Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte for Pope-bashing over traffic in Metro Manila and for declaring he was a womanizer.Lingayen-Dagupan Archbishop emeritus OscarCruz was first to score Duterte for his profanity laced speech after he was officially proclaimed as PDP-Laban presidential candidate in 2016 polls. Delikado ang ganitong nilalang (This is a very dangerous human being), Cruz told several media organizations minutes after Duterte cursed Pope Francis for causing traffic in Metro during his January visit.Netizens rained FB comments directed at Duterte who also admitted publicly that he killed several criminals in Davao City to make the city safe to all. PI ka Duterte, another FB user said.In a televised speech aired live on radio and several television networks, Duterte admitted he killed illegal drug pushers before they kill your children. He has not won the presidency yet he acts like that. Imagine when he sits in Malacanang, imagine what will happen to Juan dela Cruz if he stand against Duterte, JB Stallion posted on his FB Monday. He publicly insulted Pope Francis, he also insulted this predominantly Christian nation, Arsenio Lubay also posted on his FB. I will not vote for him, he is a loose cannon, another netizen said.Speaking over national TV, Archbishop Cruz said Duterte is not fit to become president. He will kill if he wants to, he will marry women if he wants, very dangerous, said Cruz who told the nation to think ahead of the national elections. Duterte proudly admitted he had two wives and two girlfriends at the moment.Neneng Yap, another netizen posted on her FBand Pwede siya maging DILG secretary but presidente?..nahh bastos ang bunganga. Evira Quesada said, Duterte does not have the qualities of a good president, I will campaign against him. But Duterte, in a statement, denied he cursed Pope Francis.His running mate, vice presidential aspirant Sen. Peter Cayetano, defended Duterte, saying he did not curse the Pope but the government for closing streets and causing inconvenience to many Filipinos.An obviously Duterte supporter defended the Davao City mayor and told Duterte supporters on her FB account, sayingand Duterte's advisers should tell him and remind him to stop using bad words, in public or in private speaking engagement.
