Koronadal anti-drug council arrests 2 men in illegal drug trade

KORONADAL CITY - Police and anti-narcotics agents here arrested two persons in separate raids in the city as the campaign against illegal drugs went full swing.The Koronadal City PNP and City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC), led by Chief Insp. Rey Egos and CADAC Action Officer Dr. Glorio Sandig, arrested Ferdie Somblingo, 29 during a raid alongDe Pedro Street, Barangay General Paulino Santos, Koronadal City. Somblingo of Purok Matibay, Seromines, Barangay Sta.Cruz, Koronadal did not resist arrest.Lawmen seized nine sachets of suspected shabu and shabu paraphernalia, a mobile phone and a motorbike.In a separate raid, lawmen arrestedRegan Lopez Jaylone, 33, resident of Sueno Village, Barangay Morales, Koronadal City.A police agent posed as buyer using marked money before the raid was conducted. Seized from Lopez was one sachet of suspected shabu.Charges for violation of Republic Act 9164 are being prepared against the suspects who are now detained at Koronadal PNP lock up cell.
