PNP arrest 6 men in illegal drug, seize, grenade, shabu

POLOMOLOK, South Cotabato- Police authorities arrested Thursday in Polomolok, South Cotabato six men engaged in illegal drug use and trade in a raid in Barangay Bentung Sulit, Polomolok, South Cotabato.DXOM-AM Radyo Bida Koronadal reported that a hand grenade, a gun and shabu paraphernalia were also seized from the suspectsArmed with search warrant issued by Polomolok Judge Oscar Noel Jr, presiding judge of justice on wheels, members of Polomolok PNP, Regional Public Safety Battalion, Egional Intelligence Division Team and Regional Public Safety Company, raided the suspects' house.Arrested wereRakiben Talib Camsa, Joven Talib Camsa, Joharis Mangudalat, Harid Mangudalat, Jomar Abedin Ubpon and Saiden Abedin Bahasuan, all residents of Barangay Bentung Sulit.Surprised, the suspects did not resist arrest. The raiding team found a fragmentation grenade, two heat-sealed suspected shabu and shabu paraphernalia.Police also found three marijuana plants in the house owned by Bahasuan.Charges for violation of Republic Act RA 9165 and illegal possession of explosiveare being prepared against the suspects who are now detained at Polomolok PNP lock up cell.
