South Cotabato proposes P1.4 billion for 2016

KORONADAL CITY - South Cotabato is proposing a P1.4 billion annual budgetfor 2016, the provincialbudget officer today said.Luz Fontanilla, provincial budgetofficer, said the proposed annual budget is higher by P1.2 billion as compared to this year's allocation.The funds will be divided into three major components of the provincial government's programs for the coming year.These are the general services, social services and economic sector.Fontanilla said at this point in time it is still uncertain how much each government agency gets since everything is still in the process of preparations.A budget forum has been scheduled today where South Cotabato Gov. Daisy Fuentes will preside.
