Cotabato City front line servants to get pay hilke

COTABATO CITY - The barangay front liners in Cotabato City stand to benefit from a proposal by the city council to include in the proposed 2016 budget funds to increase allowances of the government's ground troops. Councilor Bruce Matabalao said the city legislative body has proposed to Mayor Japal Guiani to increase the monthly allowance of day care center workers, nutrition scholars, street educators, barangay health worker and other front liners.He said the city government has enough funds for the purpose.Speaking over DXMS Radyo Bida, Matabalao said he expect an improved services from front line workers when their take home allowance is hiked.The executive department is yet to respond to the Sangguniang Panglungsod request.
