2 die as cargo trucks collide head on in Bukidnon

MARAMAG, Bukidnon - Two cargo truck driver died when the giant vehicles they were riding collided head on in the highway linking Bukidnon and Davao City Wednesday.According to Assam Ulangkaya of Bureau of Internal Revenue 12 who happened to pass by the town of Maramag, the accident resulted in a snail-pace traffic for about 8 hours.Both vehicles, one heading toward Davao City and the other to Valencia City, were over speeding and collided head on at past 9 a.m.One of the truck tilted on its side after impact while the other has defaced front portion.The truck drivers who remained unidentified apparently ignored a huge road sign reminding motorists to slow down since the area is accident prone.
