Tacurong cops arrest man with gun, seize 60 sachets of shabu

GEN. SANTOS CITY - Police authorities in Tacurong City today arrested a man for gun possession and prohibited drugs during the implementation of search warrants in Barangays San Pablo, POlacion and New Isabela.Supt. Romeo Galgo Jr, speaking for Police Regional Office No. 12 (PRO-12), said the subject of the search warrants were not around but a man armed with cal. 45 pistol and ammunition was arrested and detained.Galgo said Tacurong police backed by Sultan Kudarat police office personnel and support police units served the warrants of arrest issued by Hon Judge Milanio Guerrero of Regional Trial Court Branch 20 at about 5 a.m. Tuesday. The subject wanted persons were not around but prohibited drugs were seized from their homes, Galgo told and//www.ndbcnews.com.ph www.ndbcnews.com.ph Recovered from the residence of Musalem Kamin Indong were 16 pieces plastic transparent sachets of suspected shabu but before the actual search Tatuan Maulana Patadon was arrested for having his possession and control were one caliber .45 pistol with two pieces magazine containing thirteen live ammunition. Recovered from the residence of Nathaniel Alid were 30 pieces small heat sealed sachets believed to be shabu but subject person was not around during the search. Recovered from the residence of Teddy Calderon were 20 pieces small heat sealed sachets believed to be shabu and assorted drug paraphernalia but subject person was not around during the search.The suspects were among the most wanted persons engaged in illegal drugs in the city, Galgo said.
