Smart phones, jewelry, flat TV await SoCot loyal employees

KORONADAL CITY
(Sept. 6/ NDBC) — They may be old and overworked, some will retire and slow to
use the mobile phone technology provincial, but loyal government workers in
South Cotabato will receive smart mobile phones, flat TVas rewards” for selflessly serving
the government and its people.

To commemorate
the 114th civil service month celebration, the South Cotabato provincial
government will award its employees who served between 10 years to 45 years, with
a token of loyalty,” mobile phones and necklace and rings and even flat screen
television set.

Of the 131
awardees, 21 will receive the latest model of Samsung Smart phone for rendering
10 years of service in South Cotabato province, an LG smart phone each of the
10 employees who served at least 15 years while 43 digital camera units await 43
workers who worked for 20 years.

Those who have
already served 25 years will get a necklace with South Cotabato logo pendant.

Zenadia Duron,
South Cotabato provincial human resources officer, said 24 employees who had
been in the province for 30 consecutive years will be receiving a ring with
their names engraved on it.

For serving
the past 35 years, 15 provincial capitol workers will get a bracelet with their
names engraved in it.

Duron said those
who worked for the past 45 years will get a Samsung Tablet and one employee
will take home a Samsung flat screen TV.

Duron said
that aside from token, the awardees will also be receiving cash incentives
which will be given on the anniversary date of their appointment.

Among those who
will receive P10,000 or P1,000 pesos equivalent to each year of service were
those who had been in provincial government for 10 years while those who have
been serving for 30 to 45 days will receive P5,000 each.

The awarding
ceremony will be held at provincial capitol compound on September 29 during the
culminating activity of the civil service month celebration. (NDBC)
